Jensen plays characters so alike. Both Alec and Dean are so fragile, they both keep a good face on the outside, but inside.. They're both wrecked. Just finished watching Dark Angel again meanwhile I wait for episodes on Supernatural.

What must it be like to go through life looking that perfect? Yeah you might get the occasional hater but 90% of the time people would have an overwhelming positive reaction. That's a different kind of life than most of us have ever experienced.
Agree with you %100, also on the voice thing, the only time I've seen Jensen act was on Supernatural, but I recently found Dark Angel (lovelovelovelove 8D) and I gotta say, now I wish they'd left his voice alone, too. I mean I get it, Dean's rugged and all...Dean, but I think his voice would have been fine for it. And dang was he cute younger!
His voice has changed from season 1 & 2 of supernatural to wot he sounds lke now. He sound like he's got a sorethroat most of the time now. I Just love him in everything i've seen him in! I WUD!

Ben has The " Good Soldier " Complex ( THOUGH BOTH get better in that Respect LATER ) , Abandonment Complex , Self-Loathing and Willingness to Kill ! Alec has The Cockiness , Illusion of Apathy , Sarcasm , Laid-Back Demeanor , Charisma and Sexual Labido !
seems like Jensen is attracted to these cocky, funny, put-up-a-front but is a softie, characters (with Alec and Dean on Supernatural) - and his own sense of humor is rather similar...im beginning to wonder how similar he is to these characters in reality. Hmmm...he's Gorgeous and hilarious no matter what though. Awesome
Love jensen he is so Amazing, Great actor and omg is he Smokin. Love how he so sweet and shy but with Jared he comes outta his shell more and more. The Man is just so Beautiful. I do wish too they left his voice alone for supernatural I just love his voice and on supernatural especially the eps from now he sounds kinda hoarse. Alec is like who Dean was when he was younger But he does seperate the two characters beautifully
He looks SO MUCH younger, it's shocking... I loved Dark Angel, I still prefer Alec to Dean, I don't know why, I think because nobody really loved Alec and he was so alone, he put on such a tough-guy front but underneath he was more like Ben that he was willing to admit. Dean has Sam so at least he's not been abandoned like Alec. I miss Dark Angel, it wasn't the greatest show ever but Alec was my fave character. Ever. Still is.
But I feel so much more sorry for Ben... he never really stood a chance of overcoming his burden. But yeah, we all know that Dean's a bit of a Smart ass *ahem* I mean smart Alec at times, lol. I forgot how young Jensen was. That means I must have been younger too. Damn, I didn't realise so much time had gone by.

his description of this character sounds nothing like the one he plays in supernatural. pfft! lol. he plays that kind of person so well. :D *goes off to netflix to add all dark angel dvds to queue*
hehe he finds shooting a gun then a big thing..... 4 years on and hes in Supernatural YAY! Hes quite thin then aswell but he was kinda at the start of supernatural and Jared was aswell they both have bulked up ALOT!!
lol at first Dean reminded me of Alec, coz Dark Angel was earlier ;) the first time I saw Supernatural I was like: hey, this character really is similar to Alec. Then I thought, if he plays guys like this, it means he has to be an awesome guy in reality as well ;)
Oh ..yeah Dark Angel w Jessica Alba Michael Weathers and at the start Jensen wasnt there at the very first episodes and then he appeared as Alex ...OMG hes so beautiful and very talented and he became a fixed figure in it ...I remember now that he doesnt understand why Jessica was so attracted to Michael and she got no eyes on him on Alex hahaha ...😍 Jensen when still a baby boy

why has jared and jensen been typcasted as supernatural demon slaying HAWTIES!? i have no problem with it at all, i love them! but i couldn't help but notice the pattern in their roles id definitely wanna see each in a serious romantic lead!
No Jensen wasn't slaying demons on Dark Angel but he look hot kicking ass on other bad guys! Like the White's guys and those jerks who killed Biggs. Where as Jared was... well looking cute on Gilmore Girls. To be fair he did look good when he kicked Jess's ass LOL! Hated Milo in Gilmore Girls love him in Heroes though. :)
