The fellow in the pink shirt and beanie is Jason Manns. He's a professional musician/singer and a really good friend of Jensen's. Jason has been one of the musical talents the conventions have used over the years. He's largely responsible for getting Jensen willing and comfortable enough to start singing at conventions.

Jason Mann’s is a musician friend of Jensen’s who often sings with Rob’s group Louden Swain at Conventions. His music also featured on SPN, Season 4 Ep 1 when Dean returns and he & Sam get in Baby & he sees the iPod, the music playing on the iPod is Jason😄 before Deans throws the iPod in the backseat. You should also listen to Jason & Jensen singing Crazy Love, Asylum 14 had Jason, Jensen and Tim messing about. Also VegasCon 2015 Sister Christian and Seven Bridges Road are good ones, plus Jensen singing Simple Man & playing guitar is really good. It took along time for the fandom to get Jensen to truly feel confident with his singing, even though he’s sung on albums for Jason & Steve Carlson (his Radio Company counterpart & longtime friend) before. "Shout out to God at the back smashing those harmonies" is a sentence I loved hearing! This Wagon Wheel version is not my favorite from Quatro Fromagio, but I always like that their concerts are just friends signing for the fun of it.

If you like harmonization, there are two songs you should watch. Seven Bridges Road (Vegascon 2015 to get some of the excitement from the convention crowd) and now that you’ve seen Jason Manns and his beautiful falsetto, you should also watch he and Rob Benedict sing Hallelujah. It’s awesome and a standard on the convention circuit. So much so that in more recent years sometimes the crowd sings the Hallelujah chorus (heck how about the last one before quarantine “Rob Benedict and Jason Manns - Hallelujah | VegasCon 2020 SNS” ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Gq9_YjC0TRo.html). Also recommend watching them do “Free Falling” from AHBL8 convention in Melbourne. In that one you get crowd participation and “Jared Padalecki on guitar!”

They actually have studio versions of a lot of these songs if your interested. The album is called cover with friends by Jason manns. It features a lot of the supernatural cast members.

Just for grins and giggles,look up Tim Omonson (sp) on Galavant as king Richard.. it's fantastic. if you have not heard Jason Manns and Rob Benedict singing Hallelujah. you're missing out

I’m pretty sure there’s a better recording of this, a bit closer and front on. And it’s also got The Weight on it, with verses sung by Tim and Rich, and you really get to hear their voices too. And Jensen knocks it out of the park, it’s one of the songs he’s most comfortable with.

Also funny or more a heartbreaking fact Rob Benedict had a stroke in 2013 during a convention in Toronto giving Autographs thanks to the quick action of Richard Speight jr and Misha Collins they got him to the hospital and around a year later he returned better than ever and has ever since doing music with his band Louden Swain plus being God in Supernatural might not know that but Im just so thankful for Rich being such a good friend and buddy for this awsome voice that is Rob

UM..... Chris Stapleton is not the orginal singer of Tennessee Whiskey it was David Allan Coe, in the late 70s or early 80s. That original version is much slower then the Stapleton Version. Also, Darius Rucker, not the original or writer of Wagon Wheel, it was Old Crow Medicine Show... written by Ketch Secor and Bob Dylan.

I definitely enjoy these performances. Great reaction!!! As someone else said, the first guy singing (in the beanie) is Jason Manns. He is or was a part of Louden Swain, a band that Rob Benedict is a part of & plays as the house band at every Creation Ent Supernatural Con. They have become almost as synonymous with the show as the actors. Yes Richard Speight Jr is Gabriel & Tim Omundson is Cain. I think the high harmony is Laura, who is playing the guitar at the end. Also you might enjoy reacting to UK band McFly sometime. My fav songs are All About You, That Girl, Star Girl and Love is Easy.

@@CabalisticSpecies Thanks. I'm Canadian, apology is normal, and I'm bad for it, lol. They aren't together anymore but for a while I listened to R5. They had a few albums (ie: Louder & Sometime Last Night), plus a number of songs that were never put on albums, just digital (such as 'Always', 'The Hockey Song' & 'Rock That Rock'). Otherwise I mostly like older country (ie Johnny Cash, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton). Or a song called Barstools & Babies Don't Mix from the 80's movie Christmas Comes to Willow Creek.

CabalisticSpecies absolutely. I wasn’t criticising actually - this session is very improv and slightly chaotic, which gives it a lot of charm. It’s not supposed to be a highly polished performance. It gives me the feeling of a bunch of mates, sitting round a campfire and enjoying music of an evening for their own pleasure. All that’s missing are the marshmallows. And in fact, I think that’s a pretty fair representation of who they are.
