I have had one of these for the last 40 years and it has never let me down. Tip: when the puller is fully tensioned, hit the end of the anvil to do the job quicker
I'm wondering why he didn't use the impact driver on the puller bolt too. Most of the 'slogging' effort is being lost not only because it's not directed correctly, but also in elasticity of the puller material, despite it being as strong as it is.
Great video! You made light work of the hub nut with that impact gun. A good follow up would be how you replace the studs, many skip that, and a few words about the studs, and how they stretch when overtightened and then eventually snap loosing a wheel. Amazing how the studs can snap through over-tightening with air ratchets over the years at tyre centres etc, yet the alloy nuts don't strip their threads.
