with these relay dances, the solo artists always do them with their backup dancers since they're not with a group. (which is why the soloist relays are my favorite ones)

"What You Waiting For?" is still my favorite from her tbh with Dumb2 on second place. Anymore gives major Disney vibes, that's why a lot of people said that MV doesn't really match (and I kinda agree) Thanks for the reaction!!

Somi is so good! She def has range! 💜 And for solo artists, they usually do relay dances with their main dancers that they work with (& often times you can see they’re friends with). Sunmi has some fun relay dances with her dancers!

I remember somi said in an interview about "what you waiting for" the meaning is rather more about herself. she knows what she wants, what she can do, and she knows what to do next so why still thinking and waiting? just do it! something like that edit: so that's why there are a lot of somi(s) in the mv. there is past somi, there is somi who looking badass and everything trying to push the past somi to make her aware what she really want

also thank you for being one of the few reactors i've seen that always acknowledges the male dancers slaying and giving their all 😩😩 i understand why some people only focus on Somi, but watching Street Man Fighter and seeing how bad the queer dance crew was treated there made me appreciate these guys a lot more than i already did

I feel like What You Waiting For is s a message to herself - in the video she's basically conveying that other people think she's great but she can't convince herself. So her confident self is trying to pull her out of her funk and get her out and shining.

fun fact: in gold gold gold she says “24 told me that we’re going gold” 24 is one of the producers from the black label (the label she’s under). he produced the song and he’s also the guy she points to in that part

Fun fact: 'Anymore' was originally written for a male singer but Somi sung it better. The dancers in the relay also worked with Chungha who is another soloist you should check out.
