no this is prolly not the one grew up with unless you only watched only the first 2 weeks of the 1997 season otherwise it is the one with the elegant trumpet not the soothing piano but it is very similar
Not even that long. Only for the first 2 weeks of season 14,from September 1-5 and September 8-12,1997 before they switched to the trumpet version at the beginning of week 3 that year which would then be used for the next 11 seasons afterwards.
I made a Guitar Hero custom chart on this Jeopardy Think Music from 1997. I might try to upload the preview of it after I chart some other songs the RU-vid users requested.
I've always heard the trumpet version, but when I soon heard this one, I was completely stunned at how there was another variation of that same one, by only using the piano. I don't even fathom why they would throw this version out and bring in the trumpet version. Either way, I like both.
@YoshiArtClips Technically, the "Jeopardy!" theme song is NOT a remix of "I'm a Little Teapot," despite the similarities between the two tunes. The "Jeopardy!" theme song that we know today was originally called "A Time for Tony," and was written as a lullaby for Merv Griffin's son. Griffin re-wrote the tune as "Think!", the popular and immortal theme to his classic reverse-quiz show.
The category is the World Series. Here is your clue: He scored the series winning run, driven in by an rbi single by Edgar Renteria of the Florida Marlins in 1997. Good luck!
Category for Final Jeopardy today is RU-vid and here is the clue. This RU-vid personality has made over 2 million dollars for charities in his live-streams, and has just surpassed 23 million subscribers. 30 seconds players good luck!
Justin M. This one sucks to be honest. It was a good idea to add horns to the think music very shortly after they did away with the classic think music. It just feels naked if you don't mind me saying that.
I like the days of the Sushi bar, the music was more relaxing back then, unlike now where we got that energy back. But it's good to sit back and enjoy this version.
This theme was only used for Season 14 in the fall of 1997...by the spring of 1998 or probably next season in the fall of 1998, they added in the trumpet...
This would the perfect music for reviews in football, baseball and during stewards inquiries or jockey objections in horse racing(great thinking music for the stewards/judges while they render their decision)
Somehow this reminds me of that Robot Chicken scene where the Nerd wins a contest and has to choose between a Game boy advance or A Date with Scarlet Jo hanson.
Alex: I'll tell you what. Let's just move on to Final Jeopardy!, and the category is... Y-you know what?! You guys just decide! (rips the question card to pieces) You each write _your own question,_ and then answer it! (cue 0:14) There is _NO WAY_ you can get this wrong, _BECAUSE YOU'RE ASKING THE QUESTION!_ Just write down _ANYTHING AT ALL, and then ANSWER IT!!_ You'd have to be the dumbest people in the world to mess it up! And now, let's see how you managed to mess it up. Robin Williams wrote... Robin: _YES!_ Alex: Nothing... _because he stuck his pen through his own hand!_ Robin: Yes, you know what it's like, suddenly it's a Shakespearean actor who's gay going, "Tell us of York! I knew him we-" (Alex pushes the pen deeper into Robin's hand) AHHH!!! AHHH, OH!! SHAZBUTT, YES!! OH!! Alex: _DON'T EVER COME HERE AGAIN!!_ (lets out an exasperated sigh) Catherine Zeta Jones asked herself this question. "What sound does a doggy make?" Fine. And you answered... (the screen reveals: *???* ) You didn't know the answer?? _YOU COULDN'T ANSWER _*_YOUR OWN QUESTION?!_* Catherine: It was hard! Alex: _Unbelievable!_ And finally... (Sean Connery starts chuckling) Sean Connery asked himself... (the screen reveals a rather unpleasant image of Alex Trebek and a horse, while Sean starts laughing) Okay! I think I know where _THIS_ is going. Let me just see here, and yeah! That's a horse having sex with me! That's beautiful... Sean: COME ON, YA PANSY!! LET THE PEOPLE SEE MY WORK!! Alex: No, we're _NOT_ going to do that! Okay, I QUIT _AGAIN!_ GOOD NIGHT!! Sean: COME ON, YOU!!! COME ON!!!
I know, but it sounds weird to my ears, because the version I always heard was exactly the same except with a trumpet in the second in the second verse instead of a piano.
