Have no idea how this was recommended to me on RU-vid. But my dad would be so proud, God rest his soul. A brilliant sportsman for Jeppe late 50's. RIP Basil Sparham. My dad, my role model, my hero, my everything. 1944 - 2004. Taken to early
How beautiful to see youngsters, a future generation of proud Springboks, being moulded into competitive but respectful men by the wonderful game of rugby. And what a great game it was! Congrats to Jeppe on a hard-fought win! Jake White must be pretty pleased too!
Yes yes yes. Props to Jeppe. Took opportunities when you could. Grey is my favourite team BUT getting selfish, arrogant, individualistic, undissiplaned, no magic or innovation, off side, stagnant and predictable etc with no magic in the backline or doing things at speed. Only relying on their huge pack and power. Well deserved loss...always good to go back to basics at what makes a team great
Congrats to Jeppe. Amazing to keep Grey from scoring the last 30 minutes of the match! That must be a first in Grey's history? Was this Jeppe's first win over Grey ? - their 2024 team will be legends in the school's history
Watched the last move of the match again. Grey controls the lose scrum, but a Jeppe player not only goes offside, but comes in from the side to snatch the ball- 2 transgressions without consequences@@JohanSchmidt
Jeppe is a top 5 rugby school..... Ppl dnt realise how potent jeppe is ....since 2016 consistently in the top 15 , decisions always go against them , today they showed heart and determination, congratulations to Mr spilhuis and co , deserved winners ... My family have all gone to grey Bloem but I have had my eye on jeppe for years , they are becoming an absolute powerhouse, Garsfontein and jeppe are the 2 best rugby schools in Gauteng bar none.
Exactly, schools like Jeppe have been investing in their Rugby programs for years and are slowly closing the gap between them and traditional Rugby school powerhouses . There are idiotic people in the comments section who attribute Jeppes' incredible feat to BEE policies that Grey have supposedly introduced?!?!
@@phumezojijana5173 if anything jeppe has improved since embracing diversity and inclusion of all races.... Proper example of how working together is paramount... Similar to the Bok cause 💪💪💪
As an old Grey boy, well done Jeppe. You took your chances and slotted your kicks. You did the basics right. As for Grey, lesson well learned. Walked into the game too confidently and couldn’t not finish. We learn and grow.
Honestly, anyone who says Grey lost because they are BEE compliant is disrespectful. You’re disrespectful to Grey college and its coaches. They aren’t Gods, and Jeppe showed us they are beatable just like any team. I guess the same should be said about the springboks? Oh no wait, they still won back to back world cups even with players of colour.
Don't be fooled this was a good game but the referee had more than 10 questionable descions they got robbed broad daylight No surprises thou it was in Pretoria that's what happens there
stop crying 🤣 jeppe played so much better than grey you are just too blind to see that, grey should’ve had a yellow card 26th minute for playing the man in the air but nothing. referee was fair, grey did not play well and made too many mistakes which cost them the game, carry on crying ok 👍
@@dirkrenierswart6947 the ref could’ve given/shouldve given grey 2 yellow cards, the playing the jeppe player in the air 26th minute as an example, don’t come with the excuse of refs when grey made so many mistakes 🤣
