I just saw the movie where his first wife passed away from cancer;was heartbroken & happy he found Love again & now with children however disagree strongly how the title says his ex wife-should be listed as his 1st Wife!!
I too, am so happy he found Love again and has a beautiful family!! He has very inspiring worship songs!! I also agree, this poorly written caption of “ex-wife can be painful, especially for her family. Sadly the thoughtless words usually which come of our tongue and now these days sadly fly off the keys of computers or keypads often are one of the most hurtful of the 10 commandments we break. Love thy neighbor as thy self. I have often let words fly out of my mouth not taking time to capture my thoughts first; to think how they may have an effect on someone else’s feelings! This was pointed out to me not long ago on an RU-vid online Bible speaker whom I was listening. Thankfully we find Grace in Jesus as believers with our struggles such as these. So now I try to remind myself Jesus says of all the commandments “Loving our neighbor as ourselves is the second most important of the commandment’s” is the only thing that helps me try to do better. Yet, of course I still fail sometimes. Thankful for the Holy Spirit!

Beautiful family. I was saddened by the story of his first wife's passing. Loved the inspiration for the song "I Still Believe". Looking forward to seeing the movie if it comes on Netflix.
The heading under Melissa shouldn't say "ex-spouse" because they weren't divorced. Melissa passed away from cancer. She & Jeremy were very much in love.
I think this is quite deceiving. He doesn’t have an EX-wife. His first wife died from cancer not long after they were married. That’s not an ex. An ex is when you divorce.
Its NOT his ex wife, its his first wife who died from cancer, how dare you be so disrespectful ! Ppl have already been telling you this, check it out, and change it !!!!!!
One wife died from cancer the cancer was not growing and they were on they're honeymoon and she made appointment for the doctor and they did MRI results were cancer
He should be titled as widower....she should not be titled as x ANYTHING, who could possibly not know the correct etiquette in this situation....? Get you a book whoever's put this up
wow, Great Story, he rushed unto another marriage rather quickly, wow It would of taken me much longer well did being through a same situation, its like the new wife latched on to him right away, a lil odd.....everyone is diff, deals with these horrible tragedies everyday... but Melissa was Gorgeous Girl, the way her mom explained her as if she was an angel sent from God, he did replace her quite quickly though, maybe he was very just always fell for someone quick, don't know their story the movie she comes up to him after a concert and blurts out It was me, just think she wanted to date a popular person or came from Africa to no where....at the time she made him believe as if Melissa sent her,... now 17 years later luck to them....
He didn’t rush into another marriage. God brought Jeremy & his current wife together. There were signs that she was the one. Jeremy was healed by Jesus and by that, He was ready to move on. His current wife still respects that he was married before her. His first wife’s story helped his second wife heal and her story helped her.
