I am so very sorry. I can only imagine that pain. I never had children but I can imagine it’s heart breaking. Praying Gods comfort over you.

Our first son lived a day. The death of a child is nowhere you thought life would take you. Yet it did. Hurt, sorrow and grief are part of living this side of heaven. However, so are love and strength and His peace that passes all understanding. We had three more that are all great adults. Yet you never forget the loss of one of your children. My wife and I had to walk through that emotional fog, like you have had to. Like we did, I hope as you moved through the pain, look for that nail scarred hand reaching out for you. Take that hand, a sure and steady guide from the place of loss.

I love that song :) I actually loved it so much, that now im a bit sick of it. but anyway, a little while ago, I was feeling so alone, I didn't put this thought into words, but I thought that God didn't understand me, I thought that because he is this big powerful creator on the universe, that he wouldn't understand my struggles. And I felt like I couldn't trust anyone, because they wouldn't understand. Because I thought their lives were "perfect" but I was wrong. And all through that time when I was feeling so alone, That was my favorite song, pretty much every day I was hearing "You are NOT alone!! You are NOT ALONE!! You are not ALONE!!" over and over again, but I didn't get it. Finally, at a camp I went to, I shared a bit of what I was going through, but I was one of the last to go, and When I heard my friends stories, the same friends I thought had perfect lives, I heard that they were going through some pretty hard stuff, and one of the girls, the almost same thing as me. And I realized that night, that I was NOT alone, and that is also when I realized I was hearing that over and over again, And I am so thankful to God for that. For that night, that I realized that I am NOT alone. Also, I learned this verse (I forgot where it is from) It is, "No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability. But with the temptation, he will also provide a way of escape, so that you may be able to endure it." In the first part, you can also say that no suffering had overtaken you that is not common to man. Do you have a broken leg? other people have had a broken leg before. Are your parents divorced? other people have divorced parents too, are you abused? are you bullied? same thing, other people have felt it too, and you are NOT alone :) :) stay strong, I will be praying for you :D

***** Thank you for saying this. I have needed this too. I went to Winter Jam yesterday and heard this and it just spoke to my heart. I have been diagnosed with Add, but I also dealt with depression and anxiety for years and that just got diagnosed by a psychologist this year. I am also getting more testing done to see if I may have other disorders. Your prayers would be most welcome and music like this is what encourages me to seek more uplifting Christian music and compared to music like this all the other foolishness I usually consume my mind with. I need to keep seeking the Lord and being in His presence. God be with you!

Trust me man. God can and will give you more peace and joy than you can ever imagine. Be warned, though, that it will most likely not be overnight. God has a way of doing things, and sometimes that take time. That and sometimes God needs us to give up things that we may be holding on to that thinks we shouldn't. If you accept His Son as your Lord and savior, you recieve His free gift of eternal life. If you from there strive after Him, and follow his lead, you will find healing, and so much more.

Robert lee Amen bro. I am tired of it too. I am in college and I'm barely getting by. I have a lot of catching up to do with my studies. I pray that God delivers you from your depression if it be His will or that He helps you to manage it so that it no longer controls your life and that through this you will be drawn and drawing closer to God. It took me years to realize it and I am still learning it, but God is the only one that can heal and change. And that change and healing does not come over night. It takes faith, patience, prayer, fellowship and encouragement and honesty with other believers, and for me also a christian counselor. There is no shame in needing a little extra help(: Pray for me as well for strength and wisdom to get through my studies and hopefully pass all my classes, because I am so behind and to tackle, my depression,anxiety, ADD, etc.. and draw closer to God...

I was there with a group of amazing people who fed me and my homeless family it was one of the best nights of my life I had lost my best friend and uncle in a tent fire although I was going to end my life that night I was instead brought to winter jam I had never been to a Christian concert before when I heard this song I was in tears the whole time thank you God and Jeremy camp for bringing me to this point in my life I was baptized last Sunday I have walked on the edge all these years I lost my son 3 years ago been shot 3 times beaten and abused since I was 7 years old and survived multiple suicide attempts a drug addict and alcoholic been I'm 5 years clean now and I'm finally allowing god in my life it's been a long hard road but I'm still alive for a reason

I can relate, I sometimes have suicidal thoughts, even thought I never actually attemped it. I only went so far as starting to plan how I would do it. The least painful way, after putting all my affairs in order. Well, at least I tell myself it will be. The last two times I planned them. One was starving to death on a small boat with sleeping aids to help me get through it. Another was starving to death and exposure to a forest. But this time I didn't want to take the sleeping aids. I wanted to take my three kitties with me at first, but then I decided what was best for them is having new homes. It's a weird state of mind that makes one want to commit suicide. Plus, the heart wounds, the pain, the suffering. Wanting to escape the pain. Numbing doesn't work anymore. Supressing doesn't work anymore. In the end only Jesus can heal and only He Knows how to give the grace and help in time of need. The answer is always God's Love. I cry and start to feel better.
