In this episode, Jeremy has some fascinating insights on being a session musician and how playing for the song in an instrumental band is different
to a much more common rock band situation containing vocals.
He also talks about some of the techniques he's implied over the years which include using a double butt ended stick for his snare hand to achieve a fatter, more consistent rim shot and despite playing in some irregular time signatures with Steve Vai, he always tries to make it sound as straight as possible.
