Wow! I cant believe I #found #gold! While #panning a friends #claim on #vancouverisland I came across #pure #golden #nuggets. #small but pretty #cool none the less. The #river was running strong and the #water was #cold but the #gold in the #pan was showing and i wasnt going #home at that #point. Its so much #fun #panning for gold. Great #hobby for all ages but you have to be in shape as its #hard #work. #enjoy the #video and be sure to leave a #comment behind. I love watching the river run. I got excited about seeing the gold. Looks like a beautiful place to spend the day with or without gold. I don’t understand why there is so much buckshot and why it is important in finding the gold? Nice video. Good explaining how to pan. Way to go Jeremy, nice to see you doing things.

Yea the buckshot is there from people shooting guns at the river. There’s claims all along the river and people are allowed to build their own camp sites and be camping there. It’s also a hunting area. All around redneck part of the woods. That’s my guess at least. ‘Twas a great time :)

FYI , Your pan needs to have less smooth say 120 grit sand paper the whole thing so the gold " If your lucky " will hold in position instead of sliding away with the heavier black sand . Or check out Flour Gold Wizard's tips and tricks for better panning results. Cheers .

Hey that’s a really logical idea. I’ve never seen a Coarse bottom pan but I could make one for sure. Where are you from? Your pans aren’t smooth? Cheers

Love how you know how to teach that which you are doing and you do it all well! It is always a high to see those glitters of gold. I love gold panning it is a lot of fun and exercise and the bonus is those pieces of gold no matter how big or small. Thanks Jer
