Office performs like an absolute bomb for me. It projects forever. People smell me feet away 6 hours later. I only use 2 sprays and I can still smell it on me after 15 hours. Never pay full price though.
Hats off to you Robin. I really appreciate your reviews. I've been following Jeremy for quite a while and I was watching his marketing campaign on this fragrance. It was too hyped, to say the least. Almost tasteless at times. I love that you are not apologetic in your reviews, even though you can get yourself deleted from PR lists. That's what should be praised more often among influencers. Not just empty words for the right amount of money. Keep up the good work. You are a true inspiration.
I do agree with the packaging and the design of the bottle, it literally looks like it came from a cheap boutique shop. The price is ridiculously high for such a starter, even though it's from a RU-vidr.
The Price is not the biggest problem "eu du parfum" are always more expensive because its a more concentrated than your typical "eu da toilette" or "eu de cologne" People will pay good money for a good product I'm just glad I wasn't one of those suckers who wasted his hard earn cash to buy a bad product.
While I agree with you that the bottle presentation is lacking here, Jeremy specifically said before this release that he wanted his consumers to focus on the juice itself. The presentation is secondary. I hope Jeremy does evolve with his marketing and presentation someday, but you can’t knock his success.
The frustrating thing is that Jeremy had all the knowledge of PR, marketing and fragrance to make this fantastic. And in the end he ended up with a generic fragrance in a bargain bin bottle. Such a shame all round.
@@eahuso The truth is quite a few people care about the bottle, as well as the box and marketing. That's why people put so much work into it. Would you prefer your whisky on the rocks in a paper cup or a crystal glass? When you're charging premium niche prices you have to deliver on all fronts, it's as simple as that. I'm sure there's many things Jeremy would do differently. The cash grab look is certainly not good
He answered when he questioned about box and cap, he said “haters hate it anyway” but I was like “seriously? That’s bad excuse for making such a bad presentation”
P.H absolutely crazy. But really, his box is the worst out of all over €100 perfumes, and the worst cap that I have ever seen and there will be no excuse for that laziness.
Robin I have to say you are honestly THE most honest reviewer here on RU-vid when it comes to reviewing products, especially those products that come from other RU-vidrs. If any other RU-vidr had done a review on products like this or Alex Costa's Forte clay, they would just kiss ass and say it's a 10/10 and other lies. You, on the other hand, cares about your viewers because you understand that we all spend our hard earned money on these products and not all of us have money to spend on trying different products that cost a lot of money. I've been watching you for a while now and I have yet to comment but just know that we all really appreciate you being honest, even if it means saying a product from another RU-vidr doesn't really deserve our money. Thank you and I wish you the best with growing to be a bigger powerhouse of a channel!
Thank you. When I studied for my postgrad in Broadcast Journalism, we were taught that we should only serve our audience. This has really stuck with me.
I own Office too, but I think it is very longlasting. I sprayed it on at 9am and in the evening about 8pm I was asked what scent I wear, it projected very good and Long.
Am at Minute 1:49 but I want to tell my opinion on this fragrance before continue watching. I got myself 4 Bottles of it and it is the first fragrance, I bought I really think it is absolutely worth it’s money. The smell is nice, it lasts very very long and also the smell is in no way to pungent or heavy. Now I will continue watching the video 😁
I’m sorry I’m disappointed too with price for Jeremy fragrance a RU-vidr fragrance for that price I’ll buy a TOM FORD Private Blend or spend an extra $100 and buy a Kilian fragrance stupid price I’m sorry...
Ben Heinatz Nah, i think not...The Parfum has a good quality and is long lasting...I have it and many more and I can say, that is one of the best „easy to wear“ frags...
@@Nairow The bottle denotes the quality of the juice inside: uninspired, undistinguished, second-rate, and inferior. Fragrance appreciation is certainly a subjective thing, but it's sacrilege to say this is the best easy-to-wear! What about Bleu de Chanel? How about Acqua di Parma? Green Irish Tweed? Millesime Imperial? Acqua di Gio? Tom Ford Oud Wood? You get my point, the list goes on and on and on, ad nauseum. Jeremy's Office doesn't even come close to one of the best, easy-to-wear, fresh fragrances. That's not a subjective statement, I'd say there's enough evidence to say it's a fact, or at least a socially accepted norm. You shouldn't encourage people to waste their money on it when it is such an extreme rip off at any amount. People would be better served getting ALMOST ANY OTHER FRAGRANCE! I would say the only reason to get this fragrance is because you like Jeremy and think he should have some of your money.
Look at the glass bottles of bath n body for men... colonge =ocean and noir exact same glass bottle. So you figured this would have to smell amazing and last for price.
I'm not the biggest fan of the scent and definitely the price (I got it for 60€ which is about right), but how is the performance poor? For how fresh it is it might be the best performing scent that I've come across after testing about 200 so far in the past year. I can't think of any fresh scent that does as well as this and I've almost exclusively tested niche (MFK, Xerjoff, FdB)...maybe Percival by PdM is similar. This is a beastmode performing and projecting 'freshie'.
The cost is very high for the overall presentation but the scent itself is really nice and performs very well on my skin. I usually get about 7 or 8 hours. It gives me an Aventus vibe but still different enough for me to be unique. I just wish it was cheaper.
It makes sense creating an office perfume which is discrete, and not knocking everyone off their feet by desperately running to open the window. All perfume blogs are giving Jeremy's perfumes TOP score. That goes for both the male and female scents.
Its actually his first batch that had that long lasting scent and silage. The first batch lasted almost my entire work shift for me. That batch for me was the best. Smelt very strong and masculine. The other batches have a more relaxed fruity elegant scent that starts to die down after 4 hours.
Don’t waste your money. I bought the 10ml Office to try, and it’s good. I then bought bigger bottle 100ml but unfortunately the scent is SUPER WEAK. I was very disappointed and regretted for paying too much! Darn it! I sent a complain, but all they gave is discount code for next purchase. I was willing to return it if i could. Just stick to your other perfumes, u get better deals too.
JF is the one who got me into fragrances in the first place, just as Alpha M. got me into style and self-care. When they go off the deep end, as they both have, I move on. They aren't a part of who I want to be or become, so why would I consume their content? Love you Robin, and a loyal subber until this game drives you nuts 😉
Alpha M. Most gay but not gay man I ever watched on youtube(only few times watched him, I dont have problems with being Me and learning everything alone style etc..)
Sometimes you can tell right away,by the style of their content, when they’ve switched to full on monetize mode. For a lot of people that start those kinds of channels, that is the entire purpose and end game. But I’ve unsubbed from a bunch of you tubers, mainly in the fragrance comm, that are their for the mainstream advertising. I find them really boring. Just as boring as the fragrances they promote
Agree with everything, except the performance. Office is one of my best performing fragrances, I can smell it the next day and I've even received compliments the next day.
People say they wont buy thus but have you test it? For me its just smell amazing and it las long. The bottle its simple, its a perfume for business man so i don’t want any weird looking bottle.
Appreciate the great review, Robin! The only aspect that I don't quite agree on with you is the performance. Office seems to be really powerful in projection and longevity on my skin.. sometimes it may not be an appropriate office fragrance considering how loud it can be at times.
@@zbrmbodruli3632 he said ages ago that he expects his perfume to be a masterpiece and a master seller, and continued to say because of this he would make his perfume limited edition and therefore the price would double or triple or something like that. He unsurprisingly deleted the video
It's a very good Fragrance, it's like a more natural sauvage. Not scent wise but in the same category of Swiss army knife spicy woody fresh. Plus you can differentiate the different notes, while sauvage is just a chemical mess that smells good
I used dollar store coloonge my whole life. The sauvage inspired was my favorite and i got compliments. I bought my first bottle of real parfume yesterday🎉 Dior Sauvage 3.4oz. Eau de toilete. I love it! Thinking bout trying blu de chanel next!
Thanks Robin I am going to share this video withy girlfriend Because she's been busting my ass to buy this fragrance But after your review its clear that its not worth 13000 ruppes Thanks for that
Maybe Jeremy should do something original, like toilet cleaner for men, and toilet cleaner for women with the best toilet cleaning fragrance ever in our rest rooms and toilets, lol.
I just bought this and I’m still trying to figure out if I like it. I was expecting more of a fresh and clean zest smell but all I can really smell is pepper and patchouli.
Nope have no desire to buy this. At that price I’d much rather have something like a Tom Ford or Killian. Still love my Dunhill Icon and that’s cheap as chips.
Robin, I subscribed to your channel simply because of the honesty of this review. Hats off to you. I tend to look for risky fragrances. I would expect someone like Jeremy to feel the same. Also, I followed your nose and purchased Kalan. It's amazing. It is my new favorite of all time and signature fragrance. Thanks again for the honest review.
Before watching: mmmmm this gon' be good During watching: why did he talk about compliments again in the notes. The guy is a walking self worth issue... After watching: alright, it might not be bad. But it clearly is poor for its money. For that price I got Alien for Man, Versace Eros and Versace Dylan Blue. Definitely more worth it than Office. And if I wanted a room filling, lazily designed compliment magnet I'd get a new Dior Sauvage which I liked at first but now smells like a middle school boys' dressing room. Thanks for another honest review. You're the only (life)style RU-vidr I'm (still) subbed to, I really like your integrity and content.
I find office is very harsh in the opening almost how a glass cleaner smells , however the dry down 5-6hrs later is pleasant but its just too strong even with conservative use ! I appreciate hes trying to provide value in terms of strength but its just unusable due to its strength , date i think is a good balance and a usable strength , it lasts as expected but smells just like a concentrated version of a diesel fragrance such as “only the brave tattoo” , his price point is just too high for something not unique enough for me to justify paying the price so i have stuck to the more expensive tom ford or creed fragrances
The comment section is just a Jeremy jealousy and hate fest. He wasn't trying to be niche. Just create a fresh compliment getter with very very good performance (way above average for fresh scents). It's okay to admit this is a great fragrance... from the great Alberto Morillas ofc
I actually get good to great performance from this scent. I just didn't appreciate the price but everything else was good to me. I definitely feel that it does well for a office setting. Please review Date for men also
If this is so similar to Sauvage and then others... Isn't it worth buying Sauvage instead of this one? It's 50% the price and it still works. And it's supposed to be similar 🤔 I don't understand.
I watch your videos for a couple of years now (since your first video about kevin murphy rough rider i think it was), and I think this is one perfect example for your totally honest reviews: always fair and "facts" based and also straight to the point. I liked how you stressed that in your opinion the performance was weak (5:22), since this is the most important point (next to the scent itself, obviously) with a perfume. Great video, big thumbs up!
One of the best honest Reviews i've seen so far about OFFICE for Men👍. Jeremy should sell this much cheaper instead of the "Buy 1 get 1 free" discount because 150€ for a bottle is still very expensive.
He does do sales every month , i believe. his candles are nice, i like his colognes, perfect office smell.i mean its semi clinical.yet the drydown is so pleasent. Why do so many hate it ?
After the initial sticker shock, pay the extra $16 for the 100 ml. I opted for the 50 ml and when it finally got here, I thought I got a "travel size".
I disagree with people about the looks of the bottle and packaging, I think it looks clean, simple, and to the point. Jeremy stated what I was thinking of it himself when he said "what you see is what you get." Office for men is exactly that, an office fragrance for men.
Thank you for your legit reviews, Robin. You keep it real and I respect that. Also, despite not liking the fragrance, you told us (and Jeremy) in a tactful, tasteful and classy way; you are not just a quality RU-vid channel, you're a quality person. Cheers to you!
BS! I have this fragrance and the performance is great! I sprayed one spray on my hoodie yesterday afternoon and I can still smell it this morning. I think it smells even better the longer it's been on. That's why I love Office. The scent gets better and better as the day goes by
Robin, I was excited about Jeremy coming out with his own fragrance as well. I immediately looked up the fragrance on his website, and i was also put off that it costs that much, therefore didnt pull the trigger on it. Thanks for the honest review.
i wonder what it smells like? i am curious now? but if it's for office i expect it to smell like hotell (luxury), expensive, calm, fresh, soft, chill...
You are showing no hate here. You're just giving your honest opinion. Nothing personal. Jeremy should take criticism like this on board to improve his work, product and branding.
I bought it during the 1 for 1 promo.... sold the 2nd bottle for €100 as it was hyped at that time... so basically I paid around €60 for mine... it’s not a bad fragrance but i prefer others
Good honest review which is nice to see . I got the impression you wanted to like it but wasn’t gonna be swayed by anything other than your True feelings about the product
I agree that the full price is high but with all those discounts Jeremy makes it really doesn't matter so much. Now the thing that I completely disagree with you is the performance. I currently own the first Office and Date for Men batch. They both have very good performance in my skin and especially in my shirts (the smell lasts forever in them). Office lasted 8 hours last time I weared it (one week ago) in my skin and received a compliment from a very beautiful 25 year's old female co-worker of mine (I am 35) in the laboratory: "You smell very good. Every time you move you leave a trail of very good smell". But I acknowledge that there are many factors that affect performance like the skin's type, pH, moisture in skin and environment.
Constructive criticism. I like that. People in the comment are mostly took it the wrong way. Instead they mock and making fun of Jeremy, whereas Robin is all about constructive criticism.
DATE: I found it harsh, in your face, the opposite of subtle, There is no Aventus moment, No Layton PDM, no, I want this because it's a every day confidence sent.
I used to follow Jeremy and since the release of his fragrance and backstabbing his fans by selling a fragrance with an extremely high price (he even announced that he was tripling the price and released like 2 or 3 videos calling his fans haters etc, these videos are deleted ofc) I decided to unsub from this crazy guy's channel...I'm actually not surprised that his frangrance is not that amazing (as he said)
I personally like the bottle design because it looks elegant and matches perfectly with the look of a guy that wears a black suit and a black tie in the office. But what I don't like about this fragrance are 2 things. 1. The packaging that it comes in. I know that it should look minimalistic and modern but I think it failed at that point. I mean lets compare it to the Tom Ford packaging or Blue de Chanel. Both of these fragrances come in good looking, elegant boxes. But the boxes of Fragrance One look more like the white sample boxes with the printed shape of the bottle on it. 2. I don't like the cheap metal cap and the look of the atomizer. They do what they should -> The Atomizer sprays good and the cap closes but they both feel and look cheap. So improve the look of the atomizer and make it look premium. The same goes for the Cap which needs a magnet mechanism like chanel and the feel of it could also be more premium. I hope that batch 4 is gonna be better.
Something that is important to understand here is that it's good business to shoot for the middle. If you're going to do that though you gotta be affordable.
I am glad to see people being entrepreneurs and wish them the best on their endeavors, but coming at that price, I will absolutely invest in anything else.
I haven't tried this fragrance but I'm sure if Jeremy released another fragrance in the future, it will be a better performer because he would have learnt from the pitfalls peeople have pointed out.
A very honest review by you, I've actually got bored with Jeremy and unsubscribed from his channel, have you tried any Aarron Terence Hughes fragrances ?
We can’t forget that Jeremy is German. German products in general tend to focus on the product and less on the marketing / packing. A simple example would be german car companies naming their cars with numbers and letters vs american cars with full names.
I don't agree. Love the packaging and the bottle, It's simple and chic, It's not pretentious like many brand out there with their crazy packaging, I think what matters is what's inside the bottle, it's Jeremy and his style, simple and straight to the point. I love it. Long lasting and very enchanting its how I would describe the scents.
I just got it for 60€ and that’s the price he should be going for at all time, it’s a crowdpleaser, nothing special. But that’s actually what it’s supposed to be.
Economies of scale is not on his side. Custom bottles are not cheap, unless you order tons of them. For him to get a custom bottle produced from a manufacturer, Jeremy would likely have to order 50,000+ bottles. Even at a few bucks per bottle, it is clearly cost prohibitive for small operation.
With that money in Romania I can buy Parfums by Marly Layton Exclusif, now without any worries but I don't think it rises to the level of this phenomenal perfume
