Hey, Jeremy. I remember your grandma asking me to help you with an audition song "Sing a Rainbow" (you were about eight years old), and I remember you had such amazing pitch. Glad you started singing in the choir. I'm sure your choir teacher was happy to have you in class. I also remember you being shy, too, as you mentioned. Wow! It's amazing to see you all these years after Corpus Christi Harbor Playhouse. Your interview was entertaining! Congratulations on your accomplishments. Wishing you continued success in your career!
I feel like this was the best interviews I’ve ever seen of Jeremy. It’s so interesting to just sit and listen to all of his experiences and story’s, cause it feels like you get to know him just a smidge better.
I'm glad that he's back on Broadway. Jeremy Jordan is one of my favorite actors in this modern age. I'm surprised that Jeremy is more kinda like down to earth actor talking about how his career built up and he learns so much more even when he got big roles on Broadway and in movies. It is smart how he manages his own career and he watches out to not make himself to think about fame than his talent. I think that's why Jeremy talked about like he cares more of his talents and careless about fame. Because most celebrities these days care more about fame than their talent and they're over their heads about getting more fame. Even though he is very talented actor that I known, but he's still learning to become better actor. That's why Jeremy Jordan is one of my favorite actors and that's why I like about him.
jeremy is honestly my idol, if you told me i could pick any one person on earth to meet, it would be him. i’ve always been an introvert, so it was never super easy for me to make friends. but then i stumbled upon jeremy’s work, and saw different interviews and stuff, and i related to some of the stuff he said about his personality so much. i also struggled with self confidence, but watching jeremy being shy in real life and then succeed so much as an actor and singer gave me the confidence to get into musical theater and eventually plays, which i’ve fallen completely in love with. thank you jeremy, for inspiring me and so many others to try new things, explore theater and music, and to be good, kind people. i should also say, some of my best friends are the theater kids i met in high school, and if i hadn’t joined the program i would have never become friends with them. very, very excited to FINALLY see jeremy in person when i see gatsby next month!❤
I am such a fan of this guy. Loved him on Smash and The Last Five Years. His voice is one of my favorites. And now that my hunch was right on his personality I'm digging him even more.
This is such an insightful, candid, honest, and fascinating interview. Jeremy is really a smart, humble, funny, well spoken and interesting person. I really appreciate this deep and lengthy conversation. And Richard ridge is a really fantastic interviewer.
This interview just flew by. I discovered Jeremy just recently and safe to say I've been a huge fan. And I've been trying to catch up with all the things / projects he's done in his career. This interview certainly gave me the opportunity to get to know him better so thank you for this. I wish Jeremy more success in his career. I would love to see him in bigger / more mainstream movies, or maybe put out that pop album that he mentioned. His talent is immense, he deserves to be heard!
“I know a lot of people go to college and like ‘ah whatever’ and they end up go getting a you know national tour and then leaving school” He is literally talking about Andy Mientus and how he beat him for Hanschen in the Spring Awakening tour and then dropped out of University of Michigan (they first met at that very audition haha)
I live in Seattle so the likelihood I will ever see him perform live is slim. The one think I take issue with is that he wants to do less singing and move on to other venues of performing. While he is a amazing actor, his singing ability is unmatched. I would love to own his CD so that I may listen to it over and over again. All we have of his singing is youtube videos that don't offer the greatest recording of his voice. What a shame to be blessed with one of the finest voices I've ever heard move on to other characters that don't require any singing from him. Makes me sad. The least he could do is make a CD before he moves on. Yo, JEREMY! Sing to me!
08:56 here we can see his face, who already knew he was going to play a trick with Ashley. he starts singing with a smile on his face, already knowing what he's going to do
YEEEEEESSSSSS that is the song that made me obsessed. I was so broken and he fixed me by reminding me I didn't need to be fixed. I instantly thought of the song when he talked about the piece of paper that said he was good enough.
