Jeremy Lin had a tremendous game scoring 12 of his 16 points in the 4th quarter and carried the Hawks to their 7th win of the season. Jeremy also had 4 assists, 3 rebounds, and drew multiple crucial fouls.
@@heavenlogoswalker We can only hope that's the case. JLin is still in his prime (30), but we all know how racist the NBA has/was/is against Asians. As an Asian I am super proud of his man and what he has accomplished in the NBA, but the reality is no matter where he goes to he will always be a backup PG. I and most Asians has accepted that now and can only hope he somehow be traded to a contender team with a hope of winning a championship.
Whenever I am feeling down , I would just play the linsanity videos. Especially the game winner against the raptors. Always bring tears of joy and lift up my mood afterwards.
Hey i do the same. When that game vs Raptors i was in Toronto for a biz trip. That didn't go well for visiting my client. But i was cheered up in that night.
This is why Lin is such an underated talent in the league and has been since the birth of his nba career. Everything from his hustle, court vision, ball handling, shooting, and facilitative play all prove this. And it was all showcased in this game. He could’ve showcased it much more but I mean, come on now, he’s on the hawks what do ya expect. I wish for him to keep doing him and hopefully his minutes to increase. And just wanted to say, thank you to the creator of these vids. I love that I can just watch all of his highlights right after the game all in one video. I also like that you even include when the announcer talk about or do little segments on him.
Underrated? Not really. For most of his career, he was a pretty average point guard. He wasn't a great shooter, he couldn't go to his left, he committed way too many turnovers. It looks like he really worked hard during his rehab. He's a much, much better shooter. He handles the ball much better and can attack from the left or right now.
@@nishihundan1257 the turnovers always have been and are still an issue, but he's been effective going to his left for the last several years. Finishing and driving.
@@nishihundan1257 let me guess, listened to too many of the "experts" "lin cant go left, blah blah" hes been after his rookie year, just another way to tear him down. These "experts" dont want to see an "inferior" in the league compared to their "superior" kids not even in the nbdl
@@nishihundan1257 You should've been a long time not watching lin's game. Like high turnovers, left finishing, ball handling were improved after the Linsanity year. And year by year, he is still improving. If you watch him more closer, you wont have comments like that.
What I like about Lin, he can definitely still ball, hes not selfish with the ball and although he doesn't get many opportunities he makes the most of it.
to me, the most impressive play of this whole video is 3:02 , his footwork and hustle to catch back up to john wall to make a defensive play like that was impressive. wall probably thought he was home clear for an easy layup. Jlin is still very fast and athletic.
Jeremy C. Not to mention his class as a teammate and his locker room influence. Compare to Kobe’s last 2 years when a pass to him was an automatic shot even though he was shooting as low a % as in the 20s AND paid 40+ million to underperform. THEN there was S Nash. I was a big Nash fan before he was paid $20 M while injured. Rather than mentor the guards (esp Lin), he didn’t even show for some games!!!
Getting their confidence back too 😪🙌🏽 When your body isn't 100 you can feel you aren't playing your best and that mental game is sometimes stronger than the physical pain.
He plays smart basketball. He knows how to read opponent's defence and come out with strategies to split their d!! Great effort by J lin!! He's definitely one of the most underrated players in the league!!!
For me this was the funnest time to be watching the NBA ever. I couldn't wait to get home and either watch the game or catch J Lin highlights during that game. Whatever team he was playing for i was rooting for. I loved his old school guard play. I really really miss J.Lin. my favorite NBA player of all time. And no I'm not Asian.
i tihnk Lin is just a smart player. he plays the game the right way. A lot of players in NBA play amazing offense games and puts up great stats. but Lin i think makes smart decisions and gets into the right spots in defense, he'll be a very good back up point guard for a contender
@@TheSjh196 Also during the Linsanity mania when Lin outplayed Wall. I remember Lin splitting the defense for a dunk and John Wall put up both his hands like what just happened where's the weak side help lol.
I just hope he stays healthy and keep playing, because somewhere down the road I wish a proper team will pick him up and let him play. He has great court vision, high basketball IQ, and he actually plays the game of basketball. He is a really good PG. #Linsanity #GiveLinMoreTime
What a coincidence if they play Lin in the 4th of a close game they win. If they play Trae Hawks lose, which they probably want to. Lin needs to get traded to a contender.
That double hesi cross step back was dirty 🔥🔥. I say see what they can get for trae young and start j Lin. The chemistry and leadership he shows with that squad is so obvious
I feel so bad for Lin man, his career would’ve been so much better if he got drafted. He frekin carried his high school team to a d2 state championship win, yet he only got an offer to Harvard. NBA scouts so racist smh.....
Caesar Sondakh yeah. And the reason why teams dont wanna start him was because he was undrafted. Hello? He was undrafted for the wrong reasons. Lin always said that if he was black with same skillset, he would’ve been a first rounder.
He’s still on minutes restriction I think. After an injury always be patient for the rhythm and the cardio to comeback. That gives great confidence to thy game. You have to remember how fast the pros play. We watch and it looks awesome and easy.
There are so many things happen JL basketball career whether it's positive or negative. It's great to see an Asian basketball player in our history just like African American. We were told that we won't make it but now here we are. He is not one of the best in the league but he is one of our best in our community that we know and we embrace that. It's a hope for our future generation to look forward to and we thank him for creating that future path.
I think he is one of the best.. all those injuries are bullshitt and almost Ruin his career though but we all know that Jeremy was legitimate star in that time .. but for me he is always a super star in and out!!
I love to see Lin doing well, that patellar tendon injury at the beginning of last year was devastating (the collision at 5:10 scared me a bit). He's a smart, skilled and athletic player who plays hard and is very unselfish. He is also very humble, which will continue to bring him far! I pray that he continues to stay healthy and play well :)
So happy for him, he's been real big for the Hawks, whole season. Just hopefully they'll give him more minutes instead of sitting him for Trae and the L
@@retiredtidepodeater3339 Nah he's above average. The dude was way better than any PG (except Kemba Walker) that started over him. He simply didn't get the opportunity cause of fit or tanking reasons. JLin is still a top 20 PG when given 30+ minutes a game.
Cameron J You're missing the point. Jeremy Lin is actually better than average. And given the chance, he could show potential of leading teams to victories. He fun to watch even with the limited minutes they are giving him. I'd like to see him start and take over the game but that's just me.
TF are you doing, Lloyd?! You can't play him more than 12 minutes a game! And you gotta pull him when he's starting to pick the other team apart. You don't do those things and you'll fail to successfully lose the game, and then what? Zion go bye-bye.
Hawks were due. They know how to play the tanking game! It was coming up to Xmas and a home game celebrating some milestone for Bazemore... So it was always going to be a winning effort from the Hawks this game. Hence a good game to put some money on the Hawks which I did!!
@@masterroshimagazines4354 Yes we all know that. The reason why teams tank is they want the best chance to get the first pick in the lottery but if not, then at worst they get to pick 5th. As it currently stands the Hawks are in the best position out of all the other cellar dwellers. www.azcentral.com/story/sports/nba/suns/2018/12/17/nba-draft-lottery-odds-order-2019-phoenix-suns-atlanta-hawks-cleveland-cavaliers/2339050002/
@@masterroshimagazines4354 Here's the thing. When the best scenario you can imagine for your team is be at like the 10th position of the conference, you might as well just tank to the 15th. Either way you are not going to the playoff and your chance of getting a good draft pick at 15th, even if it's not guaranteed, is still better than tryhard and be the 10th. Until NBA changes this, everybody's tanking.
lin's true talent is in playoffs...he's a 4th quarter pressure guy as seen in hornets. too bad atlanta is in tank mode...although I wonder why coach let lin win the game this time.
Rodney Huang Waaaay too soon to call Young a bust.. and that doesn’t take away anything from Lin. Lin is a great teammate who has been mentoring Young even tho competing for time. What a class act.
It's obvious that Lin's a starting caliber player, and arguably a borderline all-star. He has injury issues, but he's clearly better than several starting PG's right now in either east or west. That shouldn't even be a question to serious fans. The real question is whether he'll get the right opportunity to fully showcase his talent for a full season with no injuries. Window is closing.
Somebody watched John Wall last night and knows his moves all to well...J Lin is special you can tell he watches film thats the only way to stop Wall with a full head of steam.
Same plays from when he blew up as Linsanity with the Knicks and just like the time he outplayed John Wall. The league just doesn't like someone like JLin with the influence he can bring to America's youth or as a great role model that's why he is always traded from teams to teams. An example is this guy's character outside of being an nba player just like how he responded to Kenyon Martin's diss about Lin's haircut. He blew up in Knicks but he still was traded. I read the league's schemes since day 1. They never want a JLin to establish as a great player in 1 team. It's why Lin's been sent to play for a bunch of teams. Maybe you don't catch my drift though... all good
I just looked up Martin's stupid remark and Lin's classy, intelligent reply. Martin has always been an idiot who can barely talk, while Lin has always been a class act.
All he needs is a bit more time to gradually rebuild this health to sustain the NBA grind..... I am more and more appreciating the Hawks medical staff. Keep restricting his meetings till after the all star break. Then we will see the consistent solid explosion and linsanity we all long for.
This guy does everything the right way and the League has done nothing but disrespect him!! He should still be in the NBA ... he's obviously good enough!! Its disgraceful how he's been treated!!
Good, he is not forcing himself to use speed as a factor. He is not really quick or strong. Best use of his talent. More weaving thru the defense. Nice crossover and step back. He should do more often. He is good where s his at. Nice defense as well. Was able to work against Beal. One of the best guard/offensive player.
