It’s not always about talent unfortunately in the NBA. Brandon Jennings, Monta Ellis, Ty Lawson aren’t in the NBA. Monta didn’t get a contract since 2017. If they weren’t able to get a contract when they were 29/30, you really shouldn’t be surprised by anyone else not getting one.
clash- athon you have zero pro basketball experience.....i played him in college and the NBA G league, even bringing up Jared Dudley Shows your lack of knowledge for the game. Jared is a SG/PF he is extremely tall and coordinated which is hard to find. Jeremy is 6’3-6’4 which is an average D1 guard height having to sometimes guard bigger guards with way more athleticism.....I love the guy but he does not belong in the league. Do your research I train some of your favorite players......this isn’t a guess
Sophia Luo this is the kind of player we need in China. Not Lance Stephenson, not Michael Beasley, not Jimmer fredette. Real team basketball players. Watching Lance Beasley Jimmer play in CBA with their selfish style; you can tell why they couldn’t maintain a spot in the league despite still having good athleticism and skills. No teamwork. Need guys like Lin who play proper team basketball, not the US isolation style. Hopefully Dellavedova, Joakim Noah could come over, they would be awesome. If you’re going to get a selfish international player it should be a star too not a bum like Lance Stephenson
Lin is an incredibly talented baller proven at the highest level of competitive organized basketball💯 Why? or How? He was always traded from team to team one after the other was & still is baffling!! Don't think he ever got the credit/respect he deserved!! Granted, he's not a "Franchise Player" per se, but how a wonderful talent like his, is not playing in the NBA still, is surprising!!!!
The Raptors depth is too good for Lin to have made much of an impact. Vanvleet, Lowry and Powell all deserve starting minutes and players like Davis and Thomas have played surprisingly well despite being given limited playing time.

Hoping the same thing, but the problem- if he gets back in NBA, they might just bench him again and not to play a special role, in CBA he dominates the ball- and his teammates have much respect to him as their PG. Actually, I watched all his 5 games - I even think CBA players are more physical than in NBA (they just kept on fouling Lin and his teammates). meaning, they are also tough players to play against with.

Jeremy Lin is one of the few Chinese players to won a championship in the NBA. However, even though he played 0 minutes out the 6 games in the finals, He did play 51 seconds

Nice to see Lin getting play time. He got very little time on the court in Toronto. I was sad that he didn't come to collect his ring, lots of fans were wondering. But he's where he should be..
