Thanks for the very helpful review! I skipped the first expansion, but I suspect we will pick this one up sooner or later. By any chance, do you know if this and the original game will fit together into one box?
Thank you for the review. I apologize if I missed this: Are there recommended maps included in the box that combine base tiles and Golden Temple tiles?
Yes, there are some suggested setups using combinations of the three sets and the base game and Golden Temples. You can't use Golden Temples w/ just Heroes and Hexes, which is another reason to start with the original base game.
I am unsure if this game (with this expansion) will be anywhere close to Clank legacy though, as I find the first game to simply be inferior to base Clank. Thoughts?
I'd take El Dorado over Clank, personally... It feels much more strategic to me. I don't think this expansion would change your mind if you inherently prefer the Clank system though.
