He is Polish/American. Polish mother, American father. Has no English citizenship. Plays for Polish national team. I spent around 10 years in UK just like Sochan, but it doesn't make me british. Same with him. He is Polish

Why this Video doesn’t mention about him playing for Polish National team? He will inspire a lot of young people from both Poland and UK as being Polish-American but also growing up in UK! Superb story.

Of course, when an average Eastern European/Polish person migrates to the UK, even if they moved there in their youths, spend their whole lives there, but work regular jobs, they are told that they can never be British as they weren't born there nor have British ancestry; but the moment one of them becomes famous, magically they also become "British homegrown talent!" Even though they have a Polish mother and an African American father, and choose to play for the Polish national team. Similarly to him I've spent almost 10 years in Britain - now I know what to say the next time a Brit calls me a "Polish vermin", or tells me to GTFO of "his" country - ill pretend I'm an NBA player and apparently I'll be left alone!

Polish pilots from division 303, Enigma, first constitution after US in Europe, Ignacy Łukasiewicz and first petrol destillation and despite very difficult location in Europe Poland (Germans or Russians even Austrians, Turkish Ottoman empire adn Sweden tried and sometimes did took over Poland ) Poland is democratic, thriving, free and beautifl country.
