he is so articulated and interested in his character, i love him. i can understand why he choses this in depth interviews where he can expand instead of quick passed witty talk shows

What a bright, articulate artist who has studied his craft so well that he is able to express himself so that your average person (ie me) can absorb his thought process. Best best actor in the forefront now!

"Archetypal story of ambition... striving, need to prove oneself and the way that need can take you away from the core." 😍 I love your mind Jeremy.

Jeremy Strong who I adore, is melting his heart out talking about his role in Succession and how he experienced his character and we are all enchanted by his words, and there we have an interviewer laid back, looking bored and sleepy and never interact with his guest. And at one point Jeremy felt so lonely out there with him never interacting or responding to his words that he asked if he was still connected... Poor Jeremy though he had lost connection when in reality the only thing he lost is his precious time talking to this stolid, apathetic morone.

Love this. I’ve always thought that actually Logan is just testing Kendall and forcing him to become the man who can take over from him. I think he believes Kendall is the right choice from his kids but he isn’t ready in season 1 and likely won’t be for many seasons. He needed to be undone at the end of season 1 to rebuild and see what he’s capable od

The interview solidifies the view I have had since watching the very first episodes and last week "cramming" the second season altogether...That Jeremy Strong is THE main (if not ONLY) reason to watch this magnificently uneven show. He is an actor of great range and he has provided the depth and skills that have made him a star and above all others in the series. And I am happy that he so honestly shared with us the difficulties of dealing with that last scene on Season 1 (alas, NEVER to be repeated in as close a way in the entire Season 2, although Strong remains the VITAL point of the season as well). When he breaks into tears and embraces his father he turns into the little, helpless child we all carry deep within in different degrees, and he played it majestically----sad, in a way, that it is not the ending of a great movie but instead the ending of this sloppy, uneven, many times inconsequential TV show. I wish him the best for his future. He has it ALL!!!!...

Ken is dependent of his father because his dad save him from investigation/jail from the accident. But at the end Logan is sending him to jail....WTH.... that’s why Ken is, what’s the point, if I’m going to jail mine as well it’s my crime rather than other people’s (dad) crime.

Just say the lines and don't think to much about it. There clueless responses from JS only go to show that the people who understand that characters are the writers. The actors just move and talk and try to look good.

@@apseudonym Explain to me what on Earth would provoke you into such a hysteria? Maybe it has something to do with yourself thinking this is insightful? Because to write something like that really shows you have no insight into yourself, and certain none gained from watching a TV show.

😆 You clearly have no idea what acting is. It’s not simply memorizing lines and saying them. You have to interpret the writing, embody the character, and perform it in such a way that the audience feels like these conversations are made up in the moment. Just “looking good” isn’t it.
