On Wednesday February 14th 2024, Jeremy Vine paid this touching tribute to his colleague and friend Steve Wright live on his morning Channel 5 show. I was directing the programme on this day, and although I really didn't do much for this part of the show, it was a privilege to be in the gallery for this story about a proper broadcasting legend.
