I just rediscovered this song in my "favourites" folder on RU-vid. I used to listen to this while I was still in highschool and it would make me cry and feel so intensely every time. I just graduated college, settled down in an apartment with my first ever romantic partner. When I listened to it just now, I cried again. This feeling never leaves, some things never change. It's an endless, repeating battle. What matters is that I'm still here and I still matter.

I was diagnosed with Clinical depression, Anxiety, Insomnia in 2021 and currently suffering from Bipolar too. i just recently hear this song and it immediately made me cry, like every lyrics were written for me... we truly are all depressed, but no one cares because they have their own depression to deal with, so in the end we're lonely by ourselves with no one to talk to. It’s hard to survive when your parents don’t want to understand you’re feelings keep comparing with others keeps blaming you until you you start blaming yourself for not being good enough for them starting to hate yourself for not being able to be the person,student,daughter,son they want it’s really hard to survive until they’re every single words they said to you brokes you in pieces and you start get emotionless. i thought im the only one that is feeling this depression, but sadly a lot of teens also, as a teenager I've been so stressed and felt lonely even if theres a lot of people surround me, my mom always says "you're always at your phone, ur addicted to that, go over there wash the dishes, clean the living room" i just realize that they don't know of how i feel, they just cared abt. My grades at school, and if i have low grades they are gonna shout at me and convince me to stop in studying. Idk. If others also feels this way but, just Stay Strong. Soon everything is going to be okay. I know its hard for us to have this kind of feelings but always remember "Stay Strong🙂".

I remember one day I was laughing and making jokes with my friends and one of them said "woow! today you seem so happy did something special happen??" swear to god evening before I was crying and my heart aching almost felt like a heartattack and I couldn't bare the pain. and yk when my friend said that I realised I act so good, they don't even know what I am going through. and i also remember the days when I didn't want to get out of the bed because nothing seemed to excite me, there was barely the will to live. and it was so hard to get out and start my day. why is life so hard man!?

Im a simple girl... My mom died when I was born, My Dad left the day after my mom died. My Uncle hated me and moved into another country My Aunt ignoring me and forcing her son to hate me. Grandpa had a heart attack when he found that mom died. All I have left is Grandma. I'm 15 now.. Grandma died when I was 13. Now, Strangers are taking care of me. :)

I found this song at a really dark time in my life, knowing absolutely nothing about the artist until mid 2021. This song saved my life so many times and I am just now finding out a lot of this video was filmed not even 5 minutes from my house. That rink is my second home, it's overwhelming. To know that I was listening to this song while he was writing more 10 minutes away from me hurts so bad.

Vent. I haven’t been feeling the best these past weeks. My mental and physical health has dropped. I haven’t been eating properly, I’m doing self harm, and all I want to do is stay in my room. And im just dead inside. You have no idea how much I wanted to tell someone, anyone who is willing to listen to my problems. But I never can. I didn’t even realize what I’m doing to myself until I started crying in my partner’s arms last week. We were hugging and then out of the blue I started tearing up. I’m so lucky to have a partner Iike her, my whole world, and I don’t even deserve her. But. Thank you for this song, the song that told the story of many people who also feel depressed. i am just crying and crying because it makes me so sad to think about all the people who don’t know how wonderful and worth it they are. if i could take my joy and spread it to all you lovelies who are hurting it would all be gone so fast. i don’t know how to help my depressed friends any more than just loving and listening to them when they’re able to talk, but when it comes down to it there’s only so much one person can do to save another from chronic heartbreak.

i’ve loved jeremy for a few years now. this song never really had significant meaning when i first started listening to him, and i always thought it was very nice. but now, after being on anti depressants for a week, my grades declining rapidly and therapy on the way i thought no one knew what i was going through. your parents always say that they’ll be with you, your siblings, your friends, but deep down you know that they’ll never be able to understand. but after i watched this video and read all these beautiful comments i finally realized that so many people are going through the same thing i am. for one of the first times i’m crying happy tears. thank you jeremy and thank you everyone.

My family feels I am lazy, sleeping all the time, but deep inside I wanna shout I am not lazy, it's just things are not alright. I feel like depression is more accepted when you have a traumatic childhood or a dead loved one. When you’re life is seemingly perfect, but you just can’t find a way to feel... Normal. Happy. And when there’s no outside cause that could of made you feel this way, the only thing to blame is yourself. And that just makes it a whole lot worse. And it’s just an endless cycle, because you shouldn’t feel this way. You’re so privileged, and so selfish for not accepting that. I just want someone to understand. I knew a girl once. She was everyone's favourite. She would always make everyone laugh. She was beautiful and perfect always smiling. Everyone loved her. I had never seen her do anything but laugh. I understand what it feels to be empty and alone, even if you're with your friends/family/people. It's hard to live and enjoy life when you're feeling like this most of the time, and it's hard to fight this feeling. Thank you to this song man. I really, really appreciate it.
