During my Navy career we pulled into Jamaica many times. I loved finding some little hole-in-the-wall cafe and eating jerked chicken with rice; that was my go-to meal. I will be trying jerked shrimp. Thanks Malcolm. Darlington, South Carolina
Made this recipe today, it was damn good. Wife LOVED it. I used one habanero pepper as a substitute and it was spicy. Personal preference: grill the bell peppers longer and no tail on the shrimps. Also I dont like ginger so I did not use. This was a great recipe, malcom is awesome
I have learned so much from your channel. I had gotten a Big Green Egg and I had no idea what to do with it. After watching your videos, I have slow cooked Boston butts that we’re delicious. I’ve also bbq’ed ribs and smoked a few whole turkeys and everything has been delicious. We also use the BGE fro fast cooks, like burgers and steaks, and it was so easy. I cannot wait to try this jerk shrimp. Keep giving us ides and recipes.
Let me start with thank you sir! I have fallowed many of your awsome recipes. I noticed none of your vedios was in my "likes" so I changed that to day I whent back a years worth of vedios and hit every like button. If you have used one of his recipes you all should spend the 3 min it took to do this for him! Smash that like button guys!
Malcolm, I am OK with your videos being shorter. But...this is not enough Malcolm Reed for me. I dont think you understand how much people enjoy you and Michelle's content. MORE!!!
Malcolm Neeeeeeever let me down when it comes to these cooking vids. The entire time. I'm like "C'mon now Malcom... C'mon MALCOM, don't do us like that 🤤🤤"
A little trick I use when I want to season both sides of small bits is instead of flipping each little shrimp, or chicken wing, place a plate or rack of equal size on top then flip the entire thing.
Malcom my parents live near starkville MS. Next time I'm down that way Im hoping ya'll will be at a competition cause I'd love to hang out with you and pick your brain dude. Been watching and trying your recopies since you were putting out basic tutorials of how to trim meat about 10 years ago and I'll never forget the siracha jerky you made that one time.
I have made this recipe multi times because it is amazing. The other day I replaced the shrimp with chicken breasts and and turned it into a chicken fajita mix. Damn good. Love this channel and it’s always my go to for awesome food.
Soak some bamboo skewers in water for an hour and skewer the shrimp. Much easier to flip. Just my 2 cents. I’m definitely picking up some of Malcolms jerk seasoning soon!
