Way to introduce your brand new drummer to the world. After hearing this song nobody had a single doubt than Dan Zimmerman was a great choice for the band.
Great band and song! The first three albums has Ralf Scheepers in the vocals. Kai took over from the fourth album. There are so many songs from Gamma Ray to listen: "Rebellion in Dreamland", "Tribute to the Past", "The Heart of the Unicorn", "My Temple" and many others. Cheers!
Kai Hansen is so good........ He is a composer for the band, play the guitar and sings.... He´s a heavy weight musician.. I was like you 15 years ago, I liked Helloween, and a friend told me... "You like Helloween, then you should listen to GAMMA RAY... I ignored him for years....................then I was searching for more and was ready to give GAMMA RAY a try. NOW I´M SURE AS HELL...... Gammaray is what Helloween was at the beginning and then some. Give a try to the next songs. GARDENS OF THE SINNER, SEND ME A SIGN, REBELLION IN DREAMLAND, HEAVEN CAN WAIT, ARMAGGEDON, MASTER OF CONFUSION, etc. And yes, he owns the rights to perform "FUTURE WORLD" because Kai is the songwriter... Do you know the name Fabio Lione??? (EX RHAPSODY). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7w0zv7PgfvM.html
Definitely power metal. They remind me a little in the beginning of Blind Guardian. I love the chorus! Major guitar solos........ love all of the vocals! That was awesome. I enjoyed listening to it. Thanks for sharing............... :-)
I love Gamma Ray, they're one of my favourite bands. Great song to start with. If you wanna check out more sci fi power metal, check out Iron Savior - Tyranny of Steel. You will not be disappointed.
Gamma Ray armagaddon. and do the live audio version from skeletons in the closet, it will blow youre mind cause its a freaking masterpiece in my eyes, it combines a bit of trash with power and speedmetal in my eyes.
You're such an ignorant, this album is from 1997... So Gamma Ray paved the way to bands like Stratovarius and many other bands... So no, they are not generic, they opened the path that many other bands have abused.
