6:24:33 fun fact: in the concept art, Pizzaface was supposed to _pull_ the entirety of Pizzascape up rather than a chunk of it, switching the background and having various moves such as a fencing one but it might’ve been too complicated to pull off, so they simply made it a move where he’s only able to partially pull a few knights up and laughs it off
Worth noting that he also pulls up the chunk by the sword that peppino draws for the knight transformation. Staying true to the sword in the stone lore, only peppino can remove the blade.
I saw that happen to asian player. They failed because of a language and culture barrier. Jerma has no excuse. You don't do a count down on a draw. You count the steps to distance yourself.

i genuinely do not want to know jerma’s politics at all it would completely ruin him for me. are we seriously expecting jerma to come out with a layered criticism of capitalism? i’m not. i don’t. i don’t want him to disagree with me but i genuinely don’t think he has given it enough thought to agree OR disagree or have any opinion at all. jerma spends his time thinking about much more mundane shit in a much more insane way. the only politics of his that i know is that he doesn’t like cars. he’d probably prefer walkable infrastructure. but even that is an assumption because the real reason he hates cars, is because they’re scary machines with combustion engines. he has political opinions but they’re not politically motivated, almost all of them are motivated by weird intrusive thoughts.
Jermas gamer skills really show in this stream, compared to most he beats bosses in a few tries. The almost first try pepperman. The focus mode during the pizzaface. The lack of using parry for like 80 percent of the game. The consistent A and B ranks even on bosses. He really is a real gamer.
But he will never recover from losing the quickdraw against vigilante. It is the stain on his gamer career, and we have a responsibility to hold it over his head FOREVER.
I know the chat complained a lot, but I actually think he learned the mechanics and whatnot a lot faster compared to most streamers I’ve seen play this game.

This game has a very specific "smell" to it. Of course obviously it's a _pizza smell_ but I'm not talking like big name pizza chain type. This game has that cheap, local, greasy pizza aroma that's associated with pizza that has VERY melty cheese that slides off your pizza if you hold it wrong.
smells like greasy and a bit soupy local but lovable pizza chain pizza with too thin crust that somehow is also not crispy. it also sounds like the 2 claw machines containing ripoff characters and 1 singular pinball machine located near the door that all the kids beg their parents for a quarter to play although maybe im getting too personally specific for the second part

This playthrough is 80% pretty good gameplay for a beginner that shows he has some skill, and 20% absolutely shitting the bed making you wonder how he got past the tutorial. It's bizarre.

i dont comment much but i super appreciate how you set this up ^_^ i love watching his vods with chat and having them be condensed on the screen and larger helps me to read them more clearly and be able to watch the actual video.
Happy Jerma is such a treat. Glad he enjoyed the game and probably had a front runner for Jex gamer moment of the year between Pepperman and Pizza Face.
here are some tips for new pizza tower players : play using your keyboard after you release a super jump press grab or the mach run key to do a shoulder bash. this will be useful in one way or another hold up and jump at the same time to do an uppercut. this can be done mid-air too! like the tutorial said, hold an arrow key to go even faster. if you just hold the mach run button its gonna limit your speed at mach 3. if you hold up before grabbing an enemy, like i said NOT after grabbing it BEFORE grabbing it (someone might just do a mistake) you can launch yourself up with the enemy and kill it. after you grab an enemy, you can jump and press down, you can launch yourself into the ground while grabbing the enemy, just the last one but you dont launch yourself up. after you press taunt if you press up before the taunt animation ends you can do a super taunt that allows you to kill all the enemies in the screen. if you taunt before an enemy attacks you, you can parry the attack. we call that "not sugarcoating" which requires well timing.

I could whistle since grade 4, but I couldn't snap my fingers. Again it was just something I had to practice for hours and hours until grade 8 when it clicked. Now I can snap with my ring finger as well as my middle, and the two can chain into each other. You gotta practice it like crazy, I think it helps when you're young as well because you have the patience and the drive to just practice a thing for hours.
I'm gonna sound like an asshole but i'm actually curious, what's so hard about finger snapping? I don't really renember anything beyond pressing my fingers hard so i'm not aware of the process.
