Loved this game when I was a kid, I spent ages trying to get every piñata. The dragon, the unicorn...yet somehow I could never get the deer.

the fact that in order to succeed in this game you have to, from the start, breed whirlms specifically to be eaten, was never something i grasped as a kid and i literally COULD NOT handle the conflict

I played the shit out of this when I was a young feller. I literally asked for an Xbox 360 for my most recent Christmas just so I could order this game on amazon and play it again. It was everything I remembered it being and more. If you guys haven’t played this and yet you have a way to, PLAY IT.

@@EvilGhoul I found a torrent online and downloaded an iso file. I mounted the file and ran the installer. I think there are emulated versions though.

Just wanted to give a fun fact to everyone: Viva Piñata… was almost a mobile game. So when they joke about it being a mobile game, it came very close to being one. But Rare got a contract with XBOX so they ended up expanding the game … and I’m so happy they did. I love this game, and I just can’t imagine it on mobile.

Stankfield you can play it on pc if you know where to look (it’s not available digitally so if you have a moral dilemma with piracy, I guess you can justify it by that logic) and just follow the PCGamingWiki’s page for the game to get it running

Ash frey yeah it is just not on the pc gamepass, I’m assuming this person has no console at all though, which is why I brought up the pc version. It’s also a very old game so it would run on any modern laptop if that’s all you had.

I’m so happy he enjoyed this game :) he seems to really like these little creature games, he keeps looking at some cute stuff and going “oh that’s cute :)” ITS SO SWEET!!!! Also I loved this game as a kid, I DID come home every day from school and grind this gosh darn thing!!! I did a bunch of research and everything, was probably my first hyperfixation.

Depends on what you like. I think the garden in the first game looks nicer. The first game also didn't have the Pinarctic and the Dessert desert nonsense.

I'm 24 and this was the first jerma video I've watched in months, there's a big demand for comfy, relaxing and quiet games, a lot of people enjoy falling asleep to big streamers playing nostalgic childhood games.
