Mr Benton. Me and my homie Jeremy Metoyer won tickets to Janet Jackson's control video. We got there early and went to McDonald's up the street from the video shoot.we walked in and you..Terry..Jimmy..jellybean and papa Greer were in that McDonald's also.. immediately we started asking you guys a million questions..you guys were clowning around messing with us..but cool as a fan the whole time..I appreciate the time you took to talk to us. I asked the question..when are you guys gonna come out with the Secrets..Terry leaned over to Jimmy jam and said..how'd he know about that?..I said I read all the linear notes on all of your music.lol..from prince..to Morris solo acts to Alexander...cherrelle..human leauge..all of it..when you guys play music on those albums..it would always say the Secrets. Jerome you were funny as hell as tricky in under the cherry moon..from the first album til now I've been funkin with y'all..get it up..my favorite time song hands down..keep funkin baby..and keep letting em know..what time it is..peace..God bless you brother.

Music is a personal choice black or white I love it all. Growing up in the UK in the late 60s/70s we were lucky as we had no real hang ups on music especially the big stations they played everyone and most of it back then was black and white music in the charts not that its change here. I am white but black music really influenced me through that ere more so than any other are neighbourhood was mixed anyway and I still play anything I can get my hands on I just love music.

He said the music legend will be greatly missed. Webb said he met Prince and described him as very polite, and an amazing producer. He reflected on the passing of Prince on the eve of a big day for the museum. It will hold its grand opening Friday inside the newDayton Metro Library Northwest Branch located at 2410 Philadelphia Drive. He said it’s a great partnership that’s helping spread the word about Dayton’s important role in the funk music revolution in our nation. He said they’re in the process of obtaining more Prince memorabilia to compliment their current collection of local treasures. “You’ll see some of the Zapp stuff, some of the Heatwave stuff, some of the Ohio Players… some of the Slave memorabilia,” he said. “And we have some interactive stuff that we’re going to do with the children where they can draw on the board and make music notes, and we have a funk-like Soul Train Scrabble board that we’re going to do with the children.” He invited everyone to come for a visit and promised it’ll be fun. The funk museum takes up about 700 square feet inside the new library. Meantime, the new Northwest Branch of the Dayton Metro Library will hold its grand opening at 1 p.m. Friday. It is a combination of three branches, brought together to create a new facility for the neighborhood. It was made possible through a bond issue passed by Montgomery County voters. There are a lot of new spaces; like a tech studio to record music and make videos. Plus, 90 computers for the public, and laptops to use within the library.
