Just found out that my first pastor has gone on to be with the LORD. This man of GOD baptized me in St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Gary, In. He was a kind a sweet man to a little girl who viewed him being larger than life. Very powerful preacher and I know he's having church like he's never had church before! Live on forever in the bosom of our LORD!!
i work cutting grass and i was listening to him and i put down the weed eater and watched him preach here on this link and it brought tears to my eyes .i dont know this man but i feel everything his says and its very powerfull and i also feel this caring feeling for him..i know theres a heaven and hell ..i wish there whr more of him out here..
Wow! All those great preachers in Detroit! J alan Caldwell, burnette baptist, Jerome kirby, mt moriah, samuel Turner, Mayflower baptist, Otis floyd in flint, mi, and revivalist preacher, and pastor jasper William's new Salem baptist,Atlanta, gave back in the day! Some of the greatest ever, but they're no longer with us! Rest in peace!,
Thank you God for your man Pastor Jerome Kirby; formerly of St JAMES Baptist Church in Gary, Indiana. I shall never forget his Spiritual Hospitality, Humbleness, and Consuming Fire 🔥 Sermons for God! Thank you for encouraging me in the ministry; when others rejected me for being a Woman in Ministry. Rev. Dr. Johnnae GULLETT-D. Gary, Indiana
That was good to my soul, that man is preacher from his heart, we need to show that everyday. One day we will make our transitional flight, and that time aint long, let get ready to go home,JESUS already prepare the place for us want have to study war any longer.
@@robertphillips2642 well it is the truth… but I have come to learn that these days people don’t like the truth. And the truth is people go to hell right out of the church. Funny you replied when you did because my Pastor just taught this very same thing at Bible study yesterday 🤷🏾♂️
Jerome Kirby is one of the sons of Burnette Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late Dr. James Allen Caldwell. (pictured in the background of the video). This boy knows the Word and most definitely can hoop. This took be back. Bless you.
i don't know if you're chastising the comment below you, but that comment isn't an insult it's a fact! He has a curl on this clip. And now in 2008 looking at a curl of this magnitude is FUNNY! Lighten up. We all kept up with trends back in the day that are out of style and funny now. I had cross colors and a gumbi! We ain't even gone talk about pastel and neon Easter suits from the 80's, early & mid 90's. Can the church say Master P.... Uhhh na na na
If the secular worldly people can use rap and other methods to attract people and introduce them to sex and drugs, violence ect. then why can't men of God create a style that just may attract some needed people to Christ,if it works and help someone then preachers keep on whooping. What we have seen from these mega sophisticated churches these last few years makes me say we need to get back to the old time way.
When it comes to preaching any one can learn how to do it. Unfortunately too many have decided to learn this art apart from the ordination of God. As to who is truly God sent and appointed for this there is only one way to know, and that is to have the opportunity of personally knowing how they live and act at home. What happens on the stage proves nothing.
