Glad you discovered such a good genre, I've been listening to slap house recently and although I love the genre there are only a select few songs I like, and I would repeatedly listen to those (I could do that all day tbh I like it) but then I listened to big room and I wasn't a fan at all. So I went to this melbourne bounce and I love it.

This style right here is faster than the typical 128 bpm, further the breakdown with it's reese bass is often heard in Slap House tracks as well. In my opinion, this sound is a bit softer than most Melbourne Bounce tracks back when they were popular, nowadays these tracks are more often carried by a vocal hook and less by hard lead synths. ✌🏼
