The Kings of screamo have return and its beautiful.

I've been looking forward to hearing this ever since you guys announced you were playing together again. Even though the style is a lot different from Seeing Means More Than Safety and Presents, it still has the unmistakable Jeromes Dream sound that we can instantly recognize. The whole album reminds me a lot of the Usurp Synapse song "Beard of Remoras", and I really dig it. Keep up the great work!

I like the vocals

so I was talking to a friend about Touche Amore and Pg. 99 and she mentioned this band and album that ive never heard before which is weird because i like this genre a lot. This band is some dope shit

One of the best albums I’ve heard all year! Half In A Bantam Canopy is fucking next level.

All I can say is: This LP went over my original expectations, and made a much better impression rather than leaving everything in the air to be criticized. This album is a beautiful mix of Post Hardcore, Noise, and Melodic Punk Rock that has yet to leave me unsurprised. Of the only weak tracks for me, I'd say the closer "Half-In" kinda goes on for too long? Yet, I still appreciate the clean guitar based noise rock, because that's what JD became, a good noise rock band with a Screamo background. My favorite and recommended tracks are: "Keep Those Bristles Clean And Closed", "Drone Before Parlor Violence", "Marrow In The Circuitry", "Antietam For Breakfast" If I had an official score, I'd give this a 9 out of 10.

This is fucking incredible. Y'all sound so good. Not the same same sound obviously, but it reminds me of the stuff Mission of Burma did when they got back together. It's the same fantastic sound the band had but it's matured, it's deliberate. Not better or worse, but a great next part of the story.

Fucking sick! As powerful as ever.

it's cool for what it is my opinion has changed pretty good over the last 5 months nice, steady noise rock album. doesn't conform to any expectations or preconceived notions based on its past exploits, yet doesn't stray too far at all from any of it. a little more groove than in the past, song structures are a fair bit more typical in the grand scheme of things, but still goes its own way to a degree, as far as how it wants to come off. not bad. my first inclination is to give it a 7/10. would be higher if i didn't know who these guys were. like 8.5/10

Where are "Call off the search", "Nowhere", "Sharpen Your Knives", etc. 2018 demo titles ?

It's good, but nothing that stands out. The instrumentation is reminiscent of their earlier work, while the vocals are clearly "Presents" era. For some reason, blending the two styles just doesn't seem to do it for me. It feels like a really tired attempt, but, at least I'm glad they got together and made some more music. If you listen on 1.25x speed its a lot more enjoyable.

I know they’re older and probably can’t scream anymore, but Jesus the vocals are atrocious!
