I met Jerry back in 1963,when he was stationed at Seneca Army Depot, while he was in his 20s,and stationed, up in New York.I heard that he was there, and called him, and asked him if he would do a benefit ,that my hiking club was giving to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Assn, at the Hotel Woodruff.,in Watertown NY .. He contacted me and said sure ,so he came up to Watertown, and sang a few songs, and put on a great show, accompanied by Harry Spicers band for the crowd , and he was a smash ! He had sent me a copy of his newly released record back then, called Dear Teresa in advance , when I told him it was my moms name.I see that he , and his family are still doing great , there in California I will never forget you ,or your great music , and what you wrote, over the years, for the many great singers, who recorded your songs, from years gone by . Kudos Jerry ,from a friend from 62 years ago.
