If Dak wasn't scared of "any situation" he wouldnt have demanded a no-trade clause. That clause is specifically so he can steer himself away from bad teams. Dak knows he needs a dominant run game and a high quality #1 WR to play well. AND no Dak fanboys, that isn't every QB. I liked JJ's answer about resigning the big 3, it was very nuanced. Delusional Cowboy fans don't like those answers because they are not simple, but the situation is not simple its complicated. some food for thought: few years ago the Salary cap did not go up, it actually went down. What if the Cowboy's bean counters think the nation's economy shows the salary cap will go down in the future? If that was the fact, what kind of salary cap hell/mess could the Cowboys be in if they extended the big 3 all to their desired 4 year contract? Dak fan boys want JJ and the Cowboys to give Dak a Mahomes type pay per season, but they don't realize or require Dak to do the same for the cowboys, i.e. sign for 10 seasons so they can manipulate the numbers for a decade. I am TOTALLY with Jerry. Make Dak prove he deserves a new contract. Dak has been there 8 seasons and has won NOTHING that is significant to the Dallas Cowboys tradition of winning BIG games, including the Superbowl. Romo was replaced because he couldn't win, and now Dak doesn't win. It seems fair to me. How many all stars does Dak need. How many Dak speeches hearing how he needs to do better.
