John Cato and Bob Bergen have a terrific time chatting on-screen with Jerry Mathers "The Beav"! Leave it to Beaver was one of the first primetime sitcoms to portray an average American family life. Although the show ended its original run in 1963, it has remained popular in syndication and has been referenced often in pop culture. John and Bob had a blast discussing some of the behind-the-scenes moments from the show's six-season run. Jerry Mathers was just eight years old when he auditioned for Leave it to Beaver, and he went on to star in all 234 episodes of the series. Hugh Beaumont, who played Beaver's father Ward Cleaver, was actually a ordained minister in real life. Get ready for more, because it's a fun one with "The Beav"!
