That's so crazy that he had very limited opportunity to make plays compared to today's receivers and still holds multiple records. That's why he is the GOAT
His records speak for themselves, but Jerry also played with 2 HOFers, Joe Montana and Steve Young. Not discrediting him but he got dealt a good hand with the 49ers **cough** calvin johnson
The 1990's SAN FRAN 49ers were amazing. An AMAZING time to be a young sports fan, the Chicago Bulls with JORDAN, PIPPEN, RODMAN and plenty more...then you have the legendary 9ers roster to boot! Good old days...
You said it man . I was born in 1985 what an amazing time to be alive . That takes me back to getting home early to watch Jordan play me and my dad . And getting home early to watch Monday night football was coming on . Good times .
The best time ever it was like nothing like today nonsense. Boring no talent like no other 90s game . Back n the day bears where you could actually hit someone .
Jerry is the best wide receiver to lace up the cleats I’m 35 and have been a 49ers fan since I was 10 great interview Stevo you have one of the best podcasts out man the variety of different ppl you have on is amazing
I had reconstructive surgery to be able to walk my cousin cindy was working for a company in the 90s making NFL jerseys at that time and she met Jerry somehow he signed an autographed picture for me and personalized it for me To Brandon Get Well soon #80 Jerry Rice i hope he see's this because that act of kindness alone changed my life
I just finished watching you’re special “Gnarly” on your website and it was amazing❤️. You can tell how much you love comedy and your fans in there. Keep up the great work. Much love Steve-O!
Legendary. I wonder how many people with God given talent we never hear the names of because they just don't work hard enough, the common thread that runs thru the story of guys like Jerry, Michael Jordan and Cristiano Ronaldo is they simply outwork everybody else.
The excitement of Jerry catching that ball at the Meadowlands against the giants. Still gives me goosebumps I was about 12 at the time living in the UK and watching all his teammates in the background jumping up and down makes me feel like a child again. Thank you so much for all the memories what a gentleman.
Jerry is such a humble beautiful person!!! Bless that man... he crushed it for soooo many years and you can tell his priority is to helping others!!! What a GOAT!!!!!!!!
Way to go Steve , great fucking interview, what a class act this Jerry Rice is , can you believe I’ve seen him playing on a super bowl funny enough that super bowl was against my Tampa Bay Buccaneers in San Diego which my Bucs won , Jerry was playing with Oakland Raiders , and yeah he was the best WR ever .
Wasnt 100% sure I saw that right the first time, I had to do a double take.... but sure enough, yes indeed it actually is the man, the myth, the legend among legends, the freaking GOAT JERRY RICE!!!! YEEEAAHHHH DUUUUDDDEEEEE!! Holy smoke Steve.... what a killer job ur doing getting these guests!!! I love every minute of it and keep up the awesome work dude!!
The fucking goat!! The first legitimate jersey I had as a kid was a red Rice jersey. SF was my dads team and we worshipped Jerry in my house. Saw him once in Vegas too. Didn’t know he was there for a signing so I didn’t get his signature or anything but I just happened to pass by him in a casino. Seriously the best to ever do it and a class act!
Been a big Jerry Rice fan and my mom is the biggest Joe Montana fan i know , great podcast ! Steveo has the best podcast and most genuine conversations ! Everyone feels comfortable talking with Steveo and they forget any ego they have when they come on this podcast ! Yeahhh dude !!
I love this show!! Steve-O is the absolute man and the crew do an amazing job as well!! Such a good environment for a laid back talk show, and the guests... nothing short of the best line up of interesting people willing to lay it out there. Best talk show since Howard Stern and every bit as entertaining. Keep on it guys!!
Where you trying to make a US flag emoji, or did you really mean to use the US Outlying Islands Flag emoji? They are usually rendered the same picture (a standard US flag) except for Chrome, which draws the letters UM. Really weird emoji lol
Jerry Rice put up elite numbers and made the Pro Bowl when he was with the Raiders....he was 39 years old and already had a HOF career with the 49ers. God broke the mold after he made Jerry Rice.
My grandpa and i went to a 49ers practice after Jerry Rice got injured, and we talked to him through the fence for a minute. He was sitting there stretching and he basically said hi to us. He was super nice, and it's one of my fondest memories. when he stopped playing, i stopped following football lol
Steve-o you are such a great human being.. big fan from India. Please I want you to say something about the crisis in our country. Rihanna tweeted about that.. Your views and effort will have a lot of effect on Indian people
Anyone growing up who liked football, ESPECIALLY if you played WR like me, looked up to this man like a god. And immediately he gives all credit to his team. A true legend of the world, not just the game. Long live Jerry Rice.
Jerry Rice is the 🐐!!!!!! Rice stayed on top as the best WR for 15 years, no other position player has ever had a prime that long!!!!! If you can catch a brick, you can catch a football!!!!!
My child hood guy him and Steve young. I count how many times as a kid how we would pretend of bring rice in the back yard . Thanks rice and Steve for making this happen..I’ve always heard that rice was almost at the first at the field and the last to leave . The day he lost the super bowl or won I heard he was at the field the next day training. What a day .
Jerry rice was always talked about from my dad. He's a big nfl fan. He always talked about him and Dan Marino and Brett Favre and Joe Montana! And Madden was a big part of my life. I'm not a huge football fan but I know enough.
I loved watching the 49ers back in the day of Jerry Rice & the team playing. It was great. I've got to root for the KC Chiefs this weekend bc that's my home state. GO CHIEF'S...... I love me some Patrick Homes. He's so cute....
Did Steve-O like my comments or someone else? Congratulations on the instant success with the podcast. I can't seem to have any success on RU-vid. Maybe I just ain't made for youtube success. lmao
