Jerry still has that ability to pick a phrase and just unravel it to extremes it's never been thought of before. My favourite comedians are always the ones who unpackage simple things and make an entire bit out of it. Incredible.

Then, if you havn't allready, should check out the Finnish comedian Ismo. He can take one word (or phrase) and work it like noone else. Especially with his awkward style and delivery which is amazing. =)

This is one of the most accurate, yet concise breakdowns of this type of comedy. And the crazy thing is, he’s not all that different than guys like Pryor and Carlin…it’s just the vehicle they used to deliver the undoing

That was a wonderfully crafted joke. Everything was on point. He always impresses me. I am more of a social commentary type of fan of comedy, but when I listen to Jerry, I look for his mastery and artistry. That was great.😃

But he wasn't talking about everything (even though it's in the title). Life in general, eating out and movies are subjective. Actually many things fall on a spectrum and can be analyzed, compared and contrasted. I don't know much about stoicism but applying sucks/great to everything fosters indifference and ignorance.

Was never a fan of his standup... but this caught me off guard. He was funny with bits about his life, his fame. He was animated and a great storyteller. I think he got all this from Comedians in Cars getting Coffee. If you notice, he's influenced on body expressions from Maniscalco, his home life from Tom Papa (close friend), and big budget entrance from Kevin Hart. Loved this special.

He's so right about restaurants. Rather than overpay to wait & sit too long I'd much rather just get in the kitchen myself and grind it out. The time goes by quicker and I like what I cook more than most restaurants, anyway. And I just get better and better. (in fact I am making pandemic potato bread right now.)

@@matthewrammig So true. I own too much now for my small (under 100 sq ft) kitchen now. Plus I picked up all kinds of stuff at the curb during the summer. Got a whole canning set, a nice aluminum tortilla press, a Samsung microwave that automatically computes cooking time. My favorite feature on it is the Eco button you can push and hold to shut off those annoying blue LEDs readout.
