Admitting that his show stresses entertainment over substance, Springer says that Donald Trump wouldn’t appear on it because he didn’t want to get his trademark hair pulled.

Still going strong 27 years later.He is also the reason why Steve Willis is a daytime talkshowhost. Without Jerry, The Steve Willis Show would of never existed.

It's hard to believe that ANY talk shows from the 90's are still on at this point. It's also hard to believe that none of the ones they make today are anywhere near as good as the ones they made back then.

When The Jerry Springer Show first began in the early '90s, it was a serious talk show like Donahue and The Oprah Winfrey Show! But a few years later, Jerry Springer would become synonymous with trash TV! And that, TODAY, was why The Jerry Springer Show became successful! Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!

Jerry is one for the few talk show hosts I genuinely respected. He never placed himself above any of his guests and was always very happy to do host a program that most people would more than likely never want to do.

You do know that most of his shows were not real right?? And it wasn't necessarily him being dishonest it was people being dishonest coming on the show with their fake drama. People just wanna be on TV specially nowadays they hold being a movie star or a rock star higher up then actually getting a good education and being smart. They would rather try to be a movie star a rock star and then they don't even know what continent they live on. I am not bashing Jerry either. I am from Cincinnati I remember when he was mayor. Jerry is a good guy really. I'm talking about the people that came on there and lied about their fake drama
