I hate it when people say "If you're attracted to someone who looks like a woman why don't you just date a woman?". Transexuals aren't allowed to get any lovin'? People can date whoever they want to date. It shouldn't be anyone else's business except for their's and the person's they're with.
I guess spiritually, we are not our bodies. We both have masculine and feminine energy within all of us and we are energy.... I get it a little bit but still doesn't make them women. All they are really doing is playing dress up.
Firstly, I don't know what a cat or a dog feels because I can't understand them fully, but when someone feels something so powerful and so completely that they're willing to go through the possibility of losing their friends and family and dying on the operating table to become what they feel they truly are inside, why would you doubt that? Despite some of the comments, I will be fair and says these were the people I respected back in the 80s, the transsexuals, they actually didn't bother you and as much people laughed at them (I didn't) they actually for the most part didn't try to bother you like half the mob on twitter
@unfathomableinquiry I'm not arguing semantics. I've researched transexualism for more than two years in the past. I've met a lot of male to female transexuals in the process; some who imitates women with visible effort, and some who seem to be natural. It is my belief that those who imitate without much effort have the brain sex of an opposite gender. This is also true for female to male transexuals. Those I've met act just the same as the a guy while they were born with a female genitalia.
"Why don't you just dress like a man and date a woman?"?!?! That is SUCH a stupid thing to say! It would be like telling a lesbian "Why don't you TRANSITION into a man and date women?" Isn't there the concept of being attracted to women and identifying as a woman?" Come on Jerry you're not that ignorant!
