They look beautiful and pampered, just the way any cow should! If I could have a cow, I'd want a jersey. We get our raw milk from a local jersey farm - we always spend about an hour saying hi to the ladies and their babies. Love it! Re the tail clipping comment, that's unnecessary and cruel, especially since it's usually done at ridiculously large dairies that don't use painkillers. The only reason they do it is so that they can milk their overmilked cows even faster.
Sorry I only just read your comment! You have seem to of got confused between "tail docking" and "tail clipping" Tail Clipping is quite simply just cutting the excess hair off the tail so it doesn't get in the way of milking, so no more harmful than a hair cut. Tail docking on the other hand IS cruel, as you rightly said. Dave
@2F51RL The reason why they have no horns is because they are not tethered, they can walk around the field as they wish. As for their behinds well they are washed every evening. Please believe me they are very well looked after.
animals deserve better care than most people their tail is there means of getting flies of them bodie and their horne is part of their cooling system infortunately most people again do not know much about the cow
