this is probably one of the most underrated mc's of al time, this songs is almost perfect, great beat and great lyrics, hell The Sun Rises in the East is one of the best rap albums of all time, man 94 was a great year for hip hop, The Diary, Illmatic, Ready to Die, Hard to Earn, Lifestylez ov da Poor & Dangerous, Ressurection, it had great albums and still wasn't the best year for hip hop....
RZA said this was the illest joint out at the time with a piano on it, and saw Premo in California, and told him he'd best it. The record he'd put out? C.R.E.A.M.
i miss old school rap. nothing wrong with spitting lyrics intelligently. today's rap sucks, cept for a small crew of rappers. they still got it musically, but the lyrics will never ever be as tight as this one, jeru!
