'Jerusalem' Jez Butterworth and Mark Rylance 

Pewsey has mixed feelings....Micky "Doo" Lay is no longer with us, but Pewsey is as much the village in the play as ever....I was honoured to see Mark Rylance reprieve the role this year, and it was the best thing I have ever seen.

Who on earth is in charge of censoring that clip at the beginning? Lol. A very strange person who decides the C word is fine but 'arse' isn't...

Just saw the revival in London. Mark Rylance is simply marvellous.

I went to see it last Saturday - enjoyable from the off, the poignancy of the middle and particulalrly the end has struck me, and has struck with me. An incredible experience and performance.
