I loved when the previous contestants performed their songs, especially because they grow so fast… Valentina seems to be SO annoyed by her own song, and Enzo was still a small kid two years ago, all of the sudden he‘s a grown man… Or that’s how it feels. 😂
Actually valentina's song is fast paced and the pianist picked it up at a faster pace even so she wasn't able to cope and don't know why I always get a feeling that she feels pressure for performing the song because people judged her regarding playback/live, so she wants to prove she can sing live as well maybe.. I have always felt it..
the part where the hosts were interviewing spain, after the questions they asked her sandra thought they both understood what she said so she almost left the stage, and then manon stopped them and asked the translator to translate had me dead 💀
The horrible English accent, Carla being so pissed to be here again and trying to show us the contrary, the horrible English accent again, Laura saying Jessica from Ireland instead of Anastasia and Ranina from Georgia, the horrible accent again… nothing was perfect, and I loved it 🤣❤️

Moments I cannot forget: Georgia delegation being called Irish delegation and Anastasia taking control of the Mic, one of the presenters saying "degelation" (a little mistake that made me laugh but I really felt sorry for her) and the last 2 presenters not understanding a single word in Spanish from Sandra and saying "Glacias" at the end.

When I was watching the show, I was seeing it entirely through meme makers point of view and I found it so funny, omg 😂😂😂 some contestants were going to sit before going on stage, Carla had fixated her vision towards the camera(maybe nervousness) they referred both a single girl as well as group of girls as 'girls', valentina's song was picked up so quickly on piano that she was trying to keep up with the speed, Carla saying to Anastasia 'You are so cute' (which is so true though) and English pronounced in french.. But overall it was such a good opening ceremony ❤❤, short, cute and lively.
The most funny as french was when she tried to pronounce the title of the song from North Macedonia « Kazi mes couilles » if u are french u know What it means
It's totally typical French when you speak bad English lol. The Irish instead of Georgia is so uncomfortable that the girl sees her mistake too late. Fortunately Georgia had a good reaction. For maja yes its pronounced maya. But they don't know the pronunciation of Poland in France. For Carla : Glace sias . She wants to eat ice cream lol. After the ceremony is early in France and it was impossible to do in public with the school leaving and with a high attack alert.
@@mkdutta9428 Because of the war in Israel, France is the main target along with Sweden. There have been many attacks in the last two months, including one this weekend in a village in Vaucluse. With the maximum attack alert, you must block the surrounding roads and have a significant number of police officers on site for an event like this. But honestly I preferred last year's ceremony.

I am french and we can. A lot of Europeans can speak at least two languages more or less fluently, and sometimes the second language is not English... But I agree that their pronunciation is terrible 😅 often it's because we're afraid to be judged for our accent so a lot of people just didn't try because it's less criticized.

Because at 5 p.m. it’s school time in France. Rush hour on the roads too. In France it's too early. A public ceremony in France is 7-8 p.m. and not 5 p.m. CET. Secondly, France is on maximum alert for the attack following the problems in Israel. So external demonstrations must be secure and this would have required too many police officers in the street. If you saw a jesc ceremony with police officers every 5 meters it would be weird, right? So it was better to do it in a room with a select committee.
On the other hand, I loved the opening ceremony in 2022 even if there was only playback, but the fact of being in the square in Yerevan with lots of audience ❤
Obviously since 2022 was 20th edition so it had to be grander show, and France's maybe was not too grand but it was cute and lively like the show was good considering all what is said... Also France hosted really well in 2021, and Armenia's was hosting after some years time so it was so huge, but France is doing it again so., However it's good this year it was indoors and the stage in Palais Nikaia looks so good ❤❤❤❤
