Jewsper Svensson quits throwing urethane and starts throwing reactive on practice day in lubbock! Free Bowling Balls 👇 / @thehousebowling Merch Link 👉 thehousebowling.com/ #TheHouseBowling #PBABowling #UrethaneBall
I love the Pros reactions to the camera. RU-vid is the best thing to happen to the PBA. Get to actually see the bowlers personalities. Not just Rash swearing at the line.
Before the VLOG's it was just stepladder finals and 2-minute bio's between commercial breaks. But your footage continually pulls back the curtain on the difficulty of making cuts, just the insane number of games bowled per tournament, and the fact that y'all are just regular men and women working at your craft in front of the world. Love every episode!
The behind the scenes action and actually getting to hear some of the pros just shoot the shit and hang out is awesome. Keep up the good work Packy. We love the videos.
I come back to this vlog because it's one of my favorite ones. You've got it all here, talking about team spares vs. 8 baggers, pro's and their equipment, jokes, inspirational quotes (Tommy Jones) I know all vlogs aren't created equal but this type of content gets people to enjoy the sport knowing there is emotion behind every player and game
Love the commentary from the pros, Packy might have a future in broadcasting... one of your best videos! Love to see the personalities of the Pros, reminds me of that show "Letterkenny" when they put mics on the players trying to hear them chirping 🤓
Re: Daugherty ... I've been using a pinky hole for 20+ years now, I don't know why more people don't try it. Although it was a lot easier to experiment with before the extra hole rule changed. For me it took a lot of stress off the wrist in addition to doing for me what it does for Tom.
So have you sanded up and polished a purple to go with the normal purple. I have two tanks set up that way. Old school way of thinking. When the first one starts to go I switch to the polished and keep going.
Wow I’m shocked with Tom Daughtry pinky hole. I might have to do that as well as I am a one handed two finger bowler. Thanks for the informative info packy.
I dont know if anyone can answer this, but why do the two handers like Osku and Simonsen go to the back up ball here? Is it to have something on the left side so you avoid most the oil breakdown on the right?
Was this at Whitewood Lanes? I live 2 hours away from Lubbock, I know they got another bowling alley but we prefer Whitewood more. EDIT: Never mind, I saw something say South Plains Lanes.
Someone needs to work with Maldonado on his last step. I really enjoy him, but there is a lot of wasted consistency!! Packy, you can do it, you look like painted every shot 🙂
TD ... really.. i mean its legal, can't hate someone for figuring out a loop hole. I laughed when you called him out on the size of the hole for the pinky
Is there really a shortage of urethane balls in America? I’ve been trying to get a pitch black and 2 pro shops across my state have high-ish prices and have to order them….
Also why you are using stated balls, how about pin lengths. I'm trying to get back to where I was in 1999, I carried a 228 ave, in 60 game rotation. Now I'm 59yo & out of shape so I have a lot of work to do.
A very dark day in the history of bowling when Jesper ditches the UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
What I like about these videos is it shows that this is indeed a sport and not "just a bunch of fat guys that can't golf in the winter". As a request, in one of your future videos can you count how many games you bowl in a week, including practice? I don't think many know just how much bowling the pros do. All I hear is that you "get your balls for free, so yeah, you will score."
not to detract from what you guys are doing with these vlogs, but the PBA should have a dedicated team livestreaming the practise and qualifying stuff on a dedicated channel because this kind of content does more for bowling than a televised stepladder final does.
You know I have to say when you reach the level of a pro bowler you should be able to bowl with any bowling ball that's out there and maybe that's why the lefties went to use urethane so much because it's like having a slight advantage are finding a slight advantage to bowl better because there are so many factors on the left side of the lane like they don't get as much players the right so the balls are more consistent whatever excuse somebody wants to make but if somebody's going to quit using urethane and just keep going to using reactive balls that's a great move on their part and shows what a professional they are
I grew up in a bowling ctr in the 70's quit when I was 20 better pool plyer booked a 206 ave in 79 using plastic started bowling again 3 years ago still use plastic now averaged 216 new balls can't throw hard enough to keep on line at least with my plastic usually the worst I get is nine
With so much hype for the UC3, it is kinda surprising that UC3 isn't being used much by the PBA bowlers. It's either Pitch Black or Faspitch, but rarely UC3 in the vlogs by Darren, Brad & Kyle, & Packy.
@thehousebowling Kinda funny that you talk about only throwing urethane (like it's a big deal), buy you finally make a TV show and you've got a reactive ball in your hands. Good thing you're not out there for money since all you're going to be is a journeyman player with 50k/yr earnings
Why on earth would we tell a grown man working at his xhosen profession how he should dress? As long as he's buttoned and zipped up, we should be good.
