OMG I love this song while they were pouring the sand because when the guy said the ages in the song that’s their actual ages when they got engaged and everybody did tell them they were too young and they’re still married happy with three kids so it just makes me so happy.

She is a beautiful ‘model’ of a godly young woman! It is the hidden things of the heart…a Godly character, an obedient heart to the Lord. Really enjoy watching her videos as she and her siblings were growing up, but really enjoy the videos she has now of their married life w/ children. She is a good example for young women today.

The vows Ben and Jessa made for each other were beautiful. I cried during their vows the day they got married and I am still crying because of those vows. Jessa, you and Ben are so good for each other, and I'm so glad you shared this video with the Duggar Family blog. I'm praying for your safe delivery, and I'm so glad that you and your sisters and brothers are so close. I've been a huge Duggar fan ever since that first show, and no matter what happens, I know that love prevails. I pray for each one of you every time I hear your names mentioned, and you're all on my daily prayer list. We all go through many challenges and wonderful moments, and no matter what we go through, we are never out of reach of God's pure love and mercy. Whenever we face difficulties in life, it's always best to remember something I learned from St. Augustine of Hypo. "It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness." Whenever we bring any challenge in to God's light and light a candle in our hearts, God always shows us the right thing to do. We also put God before us, and as we realize that He is in our presence, He calms and strengthens us and points us in the direction He wants us to go. I pray for you and Ben, and Jill and her husband, along with your Mom and Dad, that you'll all be a support and a strong and faithful example to Josh and Anna, and I especially pray and believe that your wounds are healing. Only love, especially God's love, will make that possible. God is never in the business of tearing people apart, and no matter what, it's important to remember this. It's all too easy for people, including Christians, to forget this and become influenced by Satan without realizing it. More than ever, especially in the Protestant Christian churches today, first and second marriages are ending in divorce. We as Christians, have a responsibility to be accountable to God, and to each other. When we do this in love and with the purpose of remaining united, we are obedienct to God and it takes bucket loads of love and patience. All too often, when a spouse breaks the heart of the other spouse, it's all too easy to break up the marriage. In a case like this, II'm reminded of a sermon I heard one morning where the pastor compared a situation like this to a fire. He said it was time to "stop, drop and roll." He compared the stop phase to recognizing any sin as a fire and putting it out is critical. You have to stop it. Then, he said the drop phase is falling on your knees in prayer.The roll phase is like rolling out the flames by smothering every bit of them. Then, you've got to prevent another one from starting, and this is where the one submits to the other. In our church, we have to do this and have a witness to stand with us to help us. This is not to inflict punishment. It's to work through what has to be a very grueling process of confession, repentance and forgiveness. All too often, people today hate the person who commits the sin. It is the sin we must hate, just as it is a real form of dis-ease, and we have to fight it. We can't do it alone, though, even with God. We must ask for help, and this help comes from Him who is able to make all things new. We often forget that part of the making things new involves replacing the sin in our lives through faith in Jesus Christ. One way to do this is as follows: Have Anna find out what tempts Josh to do the things that displease her and God, and encourage her to help Josh replace the temptation with something equally the opposite. In a way, it's rehabilitation. If I have a habbit I am ready to break, wouldn't it make sense if I could find something to do that will distract me from falling in to temptation? I know we all face these situations day after day, and the good news is that we're not alone. We have such a loving God, and He brings people and situations into our lives to help us overcome our sins and transgressions. We have to want that. Have you noticed that when we tell somebody not to do something, that person does it anyway? It's human nature. Human nature doesn't change on its own. It's only natural to see how far we can go until w"almost" get into trouble. Of course, we know that "almost" never happens. The good news is that by persuasion, example, love, patience and humility, and especially genuine concern and attention to each other that we begin to realize that we have to want to change, and this we *can* do with God's help. I remember watching your wedding it was beautiful and now you have been married awhile and I hope you remember all the words that day .
