I understand Gallo is a legend and all…. But the fight wasn’t close in the slightest… There were some competitive moments within rounds… but not 1 that could go to Estrada, save for the knock down round. Even that one should have been a 10/10 or 9/9 round for Bam.
Estrada is a veteran he can adapt he's been with tough opposition it's just that bam is a very talented well calibrated fighter they both knew what they were up against stepping into that ring Bam had to put his best performance for this fight if it was anybody less that estrada was going up against Estrada would've beat em but he was in there with a young p4p fighter that night
Estrada put up a good fight, didn’t shy away a single moment. Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez is just that good. Some of the best footwork and punch accuracy in boxing. If he wasn’t a flyweight people would easily be calling him top 5 p4p with his resume.
damn its an absolute bummer that Bam doesn't speak Spanish. He's still gonna be a major star but not speaking spanish is gonna handicap him a little bit with the Mexican born fans.

Apart from Crawford this is the other Face of American Boxing. what a performance from this young man. Look at what he has accomplished at 24 on his resume and look at the Girl known as Tanks resume. If you're a casual and do not understand weight classes. Bam is 115 with potential to go back DOWN to 112, Inoue is 122 with the potential to go to 126. It's a good 2-3 weight class difference. Maybe in like 5-10 years from now tho.

I noticed after he hurt Estrada the second time(after the first Estrada knock down) Bam was leaning into Estrada’s counter punches instead of backing away making Estrada miss punches, Bam was absorbing more. After Bam got knocked down, he went back to springing back out of the way. So proud of him that he didn’t do the typical macho reaction and stay within range inviting more.

I very rarely see a young fighter and consider him great. Bam Rodriguez is the exception. I thought that Gallo Estrada as old as he is could still get Bam into his fight. Bam Rodriguez was on the same level of El Gallo when he was young. Robert Garcia is at the top of his game, he is creating some monsters, Mikey Garcia, Vergil Ortiz, and now Bam Rodriguez. The greatest Tejano fighter of all time is Orlando Canizales from Laredo Texas, then Paulie Ayala from Fort Worth. It's going be hard to top Canizales but Bam is stepping on his heels.

Bam just didn't jump into my fights that I always watch or didn't jump to my RU-vid. There is a reason why Tank is the most famous like it or not. Robert Garcia has done excellent work with Bam. People say Robert Garcia's fighters can't box, but that's not true, Robert Garcia adapts himself to his fighters, he doesn't make them do things he knows they can't do.

Bam is a special fighter for his age it's unbelievable at times with the things he does and the way he sees things on the fly. But the only thing i would love to see him change is not standing in the pocket to be hit. If Bam sticks and moves he wouldn't get hit and if they land then it would be credit to the opponents. I can just imagine what he would make guys think and feel if they couldn't hit him. That breaks guys spiritually and of course physically. Hope he learns his s lesson with this fight that one punch could ruin the night. Kinda like the saying hit and not get him but in bams case beat down and not get hit
Bam moved up to 115 to duck smoke with Junto at 112. Then Junto moved to 115 to chase him,then Bam moved down to 112. Junto called him out and waited but Bam got too scared. As soon as Junto moved up and left 115,Bam moved back to 115 right after that. Everyone knows Bam never wanted Junto and monster. Bam will move up to 118 only if Junto moves up from 118
