I just got back from Abu Dhabi, where I had the great honour of recording "Cancion Triste" in the historic Al-Jahili fort. What an experience!

I discovered Jesse's music by accident and now it's all I want to listen to ! I fall asleep to it at night and get motivated each morning on the way to work! All of it is amazing. He is amazing and his band mates are amazing! Thank you Jesse!

Jesse Cook Está canción fue la primera que escuché de vos y escucharla me hace vibrar el alma. Jesse, ojalá supieras todo lo que siento cuando escucho tu música, en verdad la percibo trascendental, única. Realmente no sé deleita el oído con tu música sino que el alma es la que la disfruta. So amazing to hear from you Jesse...Quelle surprise fantastique!!! Your ears must be ringing because I always mention you and your music. You could be a real hit around here. Hope all is well in your life. We are OK but sadly lost my mom last September. I will be in TO during July and August for a few days on my way and back from Vancouver where Sabio now lives with his girlfriend. Can you imagine how time flies? This was styled quite differently from the original version but it’s still such a beautiful composition. I did miss the gloominess of the cello. I wonder if an oboe could work in lieu of the cello to bring that “sad” tone to Cançion Triste? Might be a nice addition.
