I love this so much! Awesome video. Cool subscription box! Love learning from you, seeing all the cool finds and surprises. And it's like a relaxing ASMR!
I loved my Jesse James mystery box!!! I’m a sucker for Sarah’s mini mixes. There are so many options to make wonderful creations that I can’t wait to get started!
Thanks for the review. I may pick this up as the stand alone box. I have a sea themed headpiece I'm making for one of my dolls and some of the items here would be great for it.
Great unboxing! I recieved my box earlier this week and love the color combos! I've made six pairs of earrings so far and I am working on a necklace. I'm watching your video and working on the necklace. Kind of funny it's similar to what you were describing with the faux coral, chains, and beads. I've been having horrible insomnia for the past few weeks and tonight I decided to binge watch some videos and create lol. Those polymer clay beads are so gorgeous! I used those in my first pair of earrings lol. The easiest and quickest way to make glitter beads is to use ModPodge (or similar adhesive) and brush it on the bead, dip in glitter and once dry add a thin layer of UV resin and cure. I can't wait to see what you create with everything from JJBMMBB! 💕
Some nice beads! Thanks for sharing your inspirations as you open the box. By the way, don't forget to pick up the bobble that fell on the floor. Bobbles are my cat's favorite toys! Looking forward to seeing what you make.
Annie thank you!! November 7th is our cutoff date for new signups, in case you are interested in having a box for yourself! jessejamesbeads.com/collections/subscription-boxes
Loved this unboxing! So many cute things so inspiring. I love the ocean too! I live in Ca and dont go as much as I should it's so relaxing and peaceful. Loved ur story about the shark. How scary!
Hi Aleshia, Susan from turtlesoupbeads channel uses pledge wood liquid floor wax to dip her polymer clay beads into it, to protect them and give them shine, then she lets then drip dry for hours. Maybe that may protect the glitter beads, you can try and see if that works.
Hi Aleshia, this mix is really gorgeous. I would like to see a multi strand bracelet please and I agree that being able to make our own glitter beads would be awesome 😜
AWESOME!!! You know what I think would be really helpful? If you created a list of how to tell different beads apart. I didn't realize telling the diff between Czech and Chinese beads was the condition of the holes - smooth vs rough. Sometimes I can't tell the diff b/w a Swarovski and a good glass bead (besides the price!). Usually, it's obvious - I look to the smoothness of the hole which is one sign of a Swarovski, but then I've had other glass beads that I purchased that had really smooth holes but I knew they weren't Swarovski. Maybe someday you could help us out with that???? You are amazing how you can just look at something and right away envision how you'll create something. Magical!!💥🌟⚡
Aleshia, the colors are beautiful! I just feel that for the price of this box, there should not be acrylic beads or even things of lower value like pom poms. I watch a lot of jewelry resellers (since I build my glass/crystal beads and chains in part from them). For the most part, they do not like acrylic beads, cloth parts on jewelry, ribbons/cords etc. as these tend not to clean well once jewelry becomes soiled and is donated. They also have less resale value than glass, rhinestone, gemstone, or crystal components. 💖🌷💍💎
We do a lot of mixed media with our bead sets, that's why you'll find fiber and a whole big blend of materials. Each Jesse James Beads item is curated by our team of artists here in the United States. We employ stay at home moms for our packaging, and produce the sets you see in our hometown of Bethlehem, PA. We are a family business with a deep passion for creativity! Our mission is to tell a story through beads, and to spark inspiration in the makers that create with our products
Hi Aleshia I enjoy watching your videos I'm a bit delayed in catching up I got behind but having fun watching them all in one shot. I love watching your excitement when you open these boxes this was definitely a lovely mix! BTW the Crystal Rondell bead with flat sides is called a Heishi rondelles. I believe typically they are Czechoslovakian fire polished but the cut would determine if they are a preciosa. Although I'm sure China makes them as well. Anyway keep up the good work and Merry Christmas to you! Holly
Also, I wanted to say thank you for the great things you say about how you tell the difference between types/brands of beads or chains or metel, Like the hole difference. I always learn these little nuggets during your vids. You are my go to video for teach and learn while having fun. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.👏👏🍰🍗🍗
I agree with trstoffers comment below. A necklace, bracelet and earrings set would be awesome. Curious, do you collect alot of seashells or just sunken treasure? Would love to see your shells if you do. I know I'll never get close enough to the shore's to see any. Take care and God bless. Sincerely Becky B from Arkansas
How do you know what kind of wire, thread, or cord to use with these kinds of beads? They have really small holes...I would like to see a 2 strand necklace please
We suggest Beadalon 19 Strand for wire, or Beadalon Elasticity for stretch cord. Both are great options! Memory wire would be fun too! The holes of the beads are between 1-4 mm
I love the color purple and also i love the beads too and i make beads bracelets as well too and i like Jessie james beads and i always wanted to get them pretty colors how can i ordered it.Ebony Stewart
Great box! Love the turquoise paisley bead at 20:29, I would buy the box just to get those. Swarovski used to sell a color sample set that contained 5 of every & all their colors. They were marked so you could always see the name of the shade you wanted. Back then they were fairly inexpensive, which tells you how long ago. It was years before the owner's daughter paid $1,000,000.00 for her wedding dress.
@@paulagriffin7100 Hi Paula - That was a mistake, all of the mixes contain the same beads. If yours was missing a piece please contact customer service at hello@jessejamesbeads.com so we can get you your beads. Thanks so much. So happy to have you as a subscriber
Thanks, I do make things from the subscription boxes and I do tutorials on them as well. I don't do opening and tutorial in same video because the video would be too long and it takes time for me to work the the subscription projects.
I would love to subscribe to this box but I placed an order with JJB last month and then got landed with an £80 Fedex bill for import and customs fees so don’t think I can afford to order again!!! 😬
Hi Jan, we've unfortunately heard that from several customers that FedEx customs charges have risen recently. We're working to try to figure out solutions for our international customers. If you shoot us an email at hello@jessejamesbeads.com our rep can bring that up with our FedEx representative and see what's going on with those customs charges.
Jesse James Beads I will do, thanks for replying, I appreciate it. I’m becoming obsessed with your beads and it’s so hard to get them here in the UK ☹️
I love all your videos. But I think this box is a scam. 99% in there is not Jesse James beads. They are aliexpress beads. Bought from there and then sorted and packed under another name. You can get them far cheaper there. I'm very surprised that they even dared to make this box. I understand that not everyone has the time to look for these beads online, but that is not an excuse to get ripped off. They are good beads, yeah, but way overpriced. The critique is to the jesse james, NOT to you. To you i send all the love in the world😊
Hi Johan! This box is 100% Jesse James Beads. We source the beads from many different places (never Ali Express), and create themed bead blends to tell a story. All of the bead mixes found in our Magical Mystery Bead Boxes are exclusive to our subscriptions. The button found in this set is from Dress It Up, our sister company. The design is copyrighted and Disney licensed! We take a great pride in the curation of our bead products. Thanks so much for taking a look
