They don't have facts or have the mental capacity to have a discussion so they call people names like call them whatever you want outside of a debate but a debate is not name calling doesn't make you right. I think Destiny just enjoys listening to them just spout of BEEEETTTTAAA.

I think he's playing a character, but this character is very much NOT far from real JLP. But I agree, there's something disturbingly amusing to watching this guy.
They didn whine, they pointed out how horrible he is, and will be. Nobody with a brain can say hes not destroying our country, and hes not even 6 months in...

Won't someone think of the Dr Seuss estate who got cancelled but didnt really actually because no one but his own estate made the decision without any outside pressure! Save me!
I'm starting to believe that JLP is the most committed Borat-type impersonator who realized that inviting Destiny over and over again allows him to take a break while Destiny dunks on the people that follow him.
Not to mention, he totally high-jacked that point that was about non tax payers not being able to vote being mostly black and latino and pivoted to whites are a bigger population with a higher number of people not voting (raw numbers obviously).
I was a destiny hater for a long time. But he kept coming across my feed as I watched other debaters. Over time I've grown to admire his approach and watching dude walk into a vat of stupidity undaunted. I don't think many other youtube personalities would be so bold.
I really enjoy him too and his approach to handling stupid. Sometimes I doubt the efficacy. I hate to compare him to a crowder as ultimately I believe his is more intelligent but his taking strong arguments to stupid people across the aisle was an interesting parallel. I will also say Destiny tends to be more honest with the data he employs than crowder. I really respect that. His biases are heavy af though just like crowder and shapiro.
@@bradleyh4532 I disagree with some of his takes, he's not far enough left for me to like him simply based on policy. And he will often use right wing talking points against people further left than him.
That guy is a beast no joke! Love that he put it out there that joe hasn’t been a president so how are you comparing them? What a senator had the ability to do and a president are vastly different.
That one dude just saying “you’re right” anytime he gets frustrated is so childish dude it’s embarrassing, that’s how five years olds argue it’s pathetic
He's a smarmy dick. When he was asked about the definition of per capita, he incorrectly answers, then condescendly says "well I'm sure Destiny will have a different answer because he's always right.". He didn't know the answer and that was his was of trying to back out of it.
He still acts like that under protection. Does destiny talk to people like that in bars? Clubs? In restaurants, out shopping. This isnt consider civil and most people dont speak to each other the way destiny does

"stormed the Capitol" they were quite literally allowed in. There's videos of Capitol Guards opening barricades and waving them in. Even as they marched through the halls of the Capitol building.. you can see Capitol Guards at attention right beside them. Welcoming them in. There was legit no resistance. And yet the media paints it as if they "overwhelmed" the guards and "breached" the Capitol. How convenient lol
@@IDKHeist the hundreds of thousands at the scene of the Capitol were all white, right? I take it that includes the Black Lives Matter activist - whose black - that they identified in the Capitol Building too, right?

It's really sad how many people are just terrible at math. I don't expect everybody to be John Nash, but it seems like understanding very basic probability and statistics is too much to ask of a lot of people these days.
I really don't think y'all understood his point. Either that or just like Destiny, you wanna ignore it and call someone stupid. That's why Joe said "you're right". Have y'all ever heard of the term don't stoop to dumb people's level because they'll drag you down there?
@God of the Hebrews basically what you're saying is JLP is so dumb that a rap video is more educational than listening him debate for over 2 hours? Yeah seems about right
The definition of the word "disproportionately" isn't even stats 101. I'd be slightly forgiving if they were actually talking about t-tests, basic regressions, or confidence intervals. This is just impressively stupid.
Destiny will never get enough credit for walking into a lions den like this, live. So many streamers who try to pick fights with him to boost their channels would be terrified to show up to something like this.
they literally gave him credit and clapped for him at the end. I definitely commend Destiny for doing this and the JLP show multiple times. He's def not strong in his beliefs because you can see when he dodges but at least he has the guts to look stupid spouting them, even though that rarely happens cuz of his 99 dodging skills.
@Nick Bacigalupo A policy is being signed into place, it will affect 18 blue people and 30 green people the population of blue people is 500 while the population of green people is a trillion. Which group would you say is more affected by this policy?
when the guy running for office went on the tangent about black people not voting completely missing destinys point i died inside, then he said it disproportionately affects white people cuz theyre the majority my dead body died
The guy sitting next to Destiny learned how to argue from Trump, just interrupt everything the other person says and pretend what you just said was a real response to a question.
OMG when he fucking made the comment about speaking fast and you sound right, I was like, LOOK IN THE FUCKING MIRROR DOOD? I mean the guy spoke so fast sometimes he wasn't getting words out.
Those guys aren't as scary to me as Daily Wire guy. Right off the bat he comes out with the 'Democrats are a socialist party that hates the 1st and 2nd amendment'. He's articulate enough where he doesn't sound like a complete dunce saying it and I think people actually listen to that guy. This is the kind of guy that I picture boomers like my mom listening to and believing
Are you serious? That’s all Destiny does is interrupt. His whole debate strategy is just act like he can’t believe what the other person is saying and interrupt them.
@@monilith811 There's no way you mean that in good faith. Destiny for sure yells a lot but you can't watch this debate with Joe here and think that Joe doesn't just yell over him every time Destiny tries to complete a thought. What do you want Destiny to do, just let him scream over him while Jesse ushers on the next topic without letting Destiny respond?
He seemed fined at first, then he went on a whole spiel about how all COVID deaths are fake and the cost of hospital beds and tirade of other conspiracy theories... what's the point of debates like this when the people you're talking to live in an entirely different world where they can hand wave 250k more dead people away? you can FEEL Destiny holding back on Joe Collins not wanting to embarrass him about not understanding "per capita" or the meaning of "disproportionate"
nah, Joe Collins was right. it's just that Destiny is racist, he has the "soft racism of low expectations" and thinks black people will always lead the worst stats, because deep inside he actually believes they are inferior, just like every leftist did since Karl Marx. in fact, most people that are unemployed in the United States are young, white men. so if there was a law that said only tax payers could vote, most people that wouldn't vote would be actually white. Destiny is just a condescending, schopenhaueristic arguer. He always argues character and comes from a positivist epistemology background, he cannot argue in logic (even if he thinks he does, because he confuses logic with empiricism), much less understand ontological arguments. He will NEVER talk economics because he knows his keynesian bullshit can easily get thwarted by a more sowellian or even austrian approach to economics. He is an SJW through and through, just a more sophisticated one. He would never, ever, ever argue with a real conservative.

1:01:43 he's clearly never been in the military. From firsthand experience i can tell you: You do not, under any circumstances, use a knife in close quarters combat with someone who has a gun. Even if they don't, you always resort to a firearm first, and anything else last. The same is most likely taught in the police force. Because a gun is always, no matter the distance, more dangerous than a knife.
18:25 "40% of them died in Democrat States." I'm not American, but is there something like a centrist state? Because if not, it would mean that 60% died in Republican States.
No, 40% died from the orders to send COVID-19+ residents back to the nursing homes, where they proceeded to infect vulnerable populations in those homes who also died and are counted in that tally. The rest died from other exposure. And more importantly, no Republican state gave that order, unlike Cuomo and his squad.
