@Makiah Jackson he was always severely over rated... and his days were never over he was still at the top when he chose to step away .... as he said in the interview “why do it any more if it’s no longer fun and you aren’t enjoying yourself” and that is why he stepped away because he was no longer enjoying himself...he has talked in soooo many interviews how burnt out he was and how he never really got to do or see anything was just touring and promoting albums and radio interviews etc etc etc...but honestly vocally he has the best range and adaptation of anyone it the last 20yrs or so because he can sing anything from rock to pop to soul to r&b to jazz....
When I was a kid seeing Jesse McCartney I thought he was the coolest singer ever. It always captivated me how he was able to capture the hearts of young teenage girls everywhere
His performances and style (back then) reminds me of Aaliyah. Random thought but they were both so chill and already had a sound established since the first album.
He exactly me depends on fam for comfort and management, loves to do what he does and wants to keep doing it. I wish i could meet him some time and get to now him better.
