There's definitely going to be some type of bizarre twist. Notice how the ship only has on bed in it despite supposedly having a full crew at the beginning and we never see the "Captain" or and evidence of any of the other crew. From what has been going on so far it seems too well written for things like that to not be hidden hints rather than plot holes.

@@MrPeach774 I was watching while doing other things so I might have missed the other pods, but did they show the face? Maybe the whole expedition was originally alters and the ship not seeing any surviving members created him from the info stored in the QC and sent him down which is why Earth is a little unprepared when he makes contact.

@@chrisalder9096 I just don't like the resource management loop, the survival crafting aspects drain my soul It is a good reason why they are called the Four Horsemen of the gaming apocalypse, at least this one is not also an openworld mmo battle royale gacha

Honestly the execution in this game is downright incredible. The pacing is on point and the sci-fi elements are just above being too cheesy. I love the idea of base building with different versions of yourself! Bloody ingenius.

All I can think about is how this is the origin story of Horatio from Endless Legends. A whole race of Jans taking over the universe.

I dont know what i was expecting when i clicked the video. i thought htis was going to be another Collisto Protocol but im glad it was more rts, base builder survival. so neat!

While I doubt they'll actually go there, I do wonder if the idea will be brought up in conversation at some point. I've watched a few different people play this demo and all of them mentioned the idea hypothetically, so it doesn't seem too farfetched for one of the Jans to bring it up. Would be a wild move though lmao

Ok, so tell me if I'm wrong, but Jan could have recreated the entire crew if the quantum computer didn't erase all of the other crew members' mind records? Makes no sense why the rest were erased in the first place.

I know its not actually changing the character's past, but I hope one of the "Alters" has the past where he cures his mom, or she never got the disease/condition in the first place.

Well having the one guy voice 80% of your lines is certainly one way of cutting down some costs. Interesting concept though, not sure I'm all in on the base building aspect of it but the story parts seem interesting at least.

oooh. I bet it's the same twist from that old sci-fi movie from 2009 called... ******Spoilers****** Moon. Sam Rockwell was a clone in that one, as well, and finds out that he's been cloned multiple times in order to man a mining operation on the moon. This even has a Benedict Wong look-alike in it
