This is a great speech. Jessie is courageous. A lot of celebrities would never take a stand against social injustice.

An amazing reading. Making honest speech intelligible to his audience. That is the job of a public speaker.

This is not Jesse's speech people. Didn't anyone read the byline? He is reading from Howard Zinn: co-author of the book "A People's History of the United States". A book that looks at all kinds of history through the eyes of those who are not always noted in History classes. Is Zinn biased? Yes, but to challenge your mind, you have to see the bias but also absorb what he says; reading Zinn is not a one-time read. You really have to contemplate some of his stances, and doctrines really. But he also looks at sides of issues that few tend to think about, or even know exist. This book is interesting, makes you think, and can be enlightening. Zinn has other books too, and yes they challenge status-quo in many ways too. You do have to be willing to challenge your own beliefs that make you comfortable with the status-quo. Zinn challenges you as a reader; as a good author should do. This is Zinn's speech. Jesse is an actor reading Zinn. Zinn died a few years ago, so what is being spoken here was probably written LONG before 2016. That's what makes it so prophetic.
