Agreed. It's kinda sad that it took 15 years for her to be this successful though. Since she came to Korea, she was highly sought by a lot of producers because of her killer vocals, but she got a lot of hate in the country for being "too American" 😭

She's Korean American, born in New York, and raised in New Jersey. She spoke bare minimum Korean before moving to Seoul aged 14, literally annyeonghaseyo, and that's it. If she sounds Western when she sings, that's because she is.

It's been only one week that i knew that there's an awesome called Jessi. Her voice is so strong and u can feel her emotions when she sings and she's so special cuz she broke all the south Korea rules just like hawasa they exposed their tonned body, wearing what they want having tattos long nails etc. They're queens and i hope that Jessy expose her talent in USA cuz it might that Koreans don't know how powerful voice is.
