Thank you for sharing your story, I had a stroke on the 6th of December 2020 missed out on Xmas with my kids😢. I came out of hospital august 12 2021 now doing rehab at home still recovering and getting stronger on my legs. My left arm got a lot of work to do. With this pandemic I was denied the opportunity to do rehab at my community centre but I'm fighting to get my life back for my kids. I got told by the doctor from the rehab next 3 to 6 months if I don't progress I will probably be like this for the rest of my life 🤦but I'm going to prove him wrong. I'm going to work hard and pray to God he will get me and my family through this.hope you're better from your stroke be strong and God bless you🙏🙏🙏
I was going through a brain surgery and suffered a stroke during the surgery, I woke up from surgery unable to move the left side of my body and lost half my eyesight, after 2months in the hospital i began to walk and was able to return to my senior year walking free and passing, I’ve been through pt for 3 years as of right now, god is great and does stuff in mysterious ways and only to the best of us, sending prayers to u guys!
Great recovery. My mother suffered multiple strokes, the first one she was 47. I was 15 at the time. My father had one 2 years later and recovered. My mother unfortunately, suffered the worst of it. After becoming permanently disabled and the onset of dementia in her early 50s, my father left us. I left college to be her care taker alongside my sister. We didn't have money for help and there wasn't much that could be done. She entered a nursing home by the age of 58. My mother was an RN for 25 prior to her stroke. Wish I could take her place and bring her home everyday. Every second counts.
Thank you for your story ! I have had the same things happen to me and I constantly worry about my husband my stroke was 3 weeks ago and I got married on June 27, 2020 I feel like I’m a Burden to my husband now so many tests still physical therapy so many dr appts weekly ! I’m thankful for no permanent damage other than my speech or words are off but thank you for giving me some hope ! God bless you
Jessica is more at risk now because of her obvious weight gain. She was a lot thinner when she had her first stroke. Stroke reoccurs so I hope she seriously considers going through weight loss program. Might as well encourage her husband to do it as well. Obesity plays a risky role in the occurence of stroke.
Thank you for also sharing I’m crying as I’m typing this my brother 48 years old suffered a hemorrhagic stroke on June 6th three weeks ago he is at a rehabilitation center but its hard for him but he is trying I leave out when I visit him because it hurts me too see my brother struggle with the simplicity task like hello he can do it but it’s delayed but I thank God every day that he’s still with us his stroke comes from high blood pressure he was on his way to work on June 6 that was a Sunday and he never made it to work his blood pressure was 250/198 2 blood vessels ruptured in his brain my brother was gone but they brought him back the Dr’s said he’s a miracle and it’s going to take time although he’s making slow progress slow progress is better than no progress I am my brothers keeper I love him dearly and I even love him more now than ever because right now he is helpless and I am in protective mode I’m so happy you survived your stroke and made a strong come back and I pray that you continue to live life to the full and you never have to relive a stroke again.and I’m going to continue to pray and fight for my brother daily as I do now to get through this storm that we are in when The Dr’s told my brother that he had a stroke he was alert enough to understand he cried I have never seen my brother cry my brother cried so hard to the point the doctors and the nurses was crying and trying to console him at the same time because they had to keep his blood pressure down he has a stubborn blood pressure and right now what has his blood pressure stable is five blood pressure pills please say a prayer for my mom and my brother and myself as we continue to be strong for him but he’s definitely definitely trying hard .God bless you.
