Jessica does a great Job here, I just didn’t realize how great Nicks voice is, so effortless and smooth. His voice is better than most boy band voices.
In my HONEST opinion, they both can sing really well & this is my FAVORITE version of this song. I wish Nick & Jessica was still together...they were such a GREAT couple!

This is the best male performance of the song I've heard along with Peabo Bryson's version. But Jessica's work is far from the best female performance of the song I've heard! She has vocal talent but lacks the theatrical flair really necessary for this song -- see Laura Osnes's or of course Lea Salonga's versions for that. Cheers!
Nicks talent has been so overlooked....can’t understand why he isn’t focusing on singing / his top talent and hosting instead - maybe because someone is pushing him to host?

A George wrong. She tried in that marriage. When they started having issues she wanted to go to counseling. Meanwhile, he was busy writing songs like “ I can’t hate you anymore.” She even said the last time they saw each other she could feel the hate rippling off of him and she knew it was over. He was very jealous that she became more successful than him.
@@SamiLo2 read the original comment. I was speaking about the video. However, a year before she said she wanted a divorce, she was sexting people from Dukes. That's not exactly trying in a marriage. Nick wrote "I Can't Hate You Anymore" after they broke up, and the comment about the hate radiating off of him was when he came back for a second chance after they broke up and she gave him a pity lay.
She was too young married, gas lit. He got jealous of her fame. Now he’s still trying to stay c-class famous but as a presenter on Netflix. Sad really.
A great rendition of a classic; they sound great together and Jessica's belts are strenuous and raw as ever-- just how I prefer them. A beautiful look back on a couple who rocked the pop industry perfectly for a brief period.

Looks wise on physical attraction this couple was off the charts. All I remember is he said she was super lazy and didn’t know how to do the laundry. They were probably pushed to be together by their respective publications and management teams. They certainly had good chemistry in this song.
I always loved this version most, whatever people say whoever else is the best with this song. I know, in the end, those 2 were not really ment for each other, but at some point they really did. Because, as a helpless romantic, you can see that between them in this video. That alone makes the video so much better, not to mention that they both fit so well vocally together. This video for me is a eternal classic of pop ballads. ;)
When this music video first came out, I was really excited. After that I kept watching it over and over. It instantly transported me to Aladdin and Jasmine's world. To me this song helped me relive my childhood which includes my giant crush on Nick Lachey and my obsession with Disney Princess movies.

Whither they are acting or not, their sparks is tantalizing and inviting. Hope to find someone that will look at me like he/she looked each other. I love this version.
As iconic and legendary as Brad Kane and Lea Salonga and Peabo and Regina all were with this song, you can clearly see just how much Nick loved Jessica and vice versa.
I've always liked this version of the song, and Nick Lachey's voice continues to impress me every time I hear it. But I gotta say, Jessica Simpson's voice has really grown on me in this song, cause when I first heard it, I wasn't really into it, but now I really think she sounded great.
this was more passionate than the original. they sang the song so smooth, passionate and beautiful like they are having fun. they did an excellent job. these two are so beautiful together.
